Great work, please keep calling out the Kremlin propoganda. The leaders and citizens of my own continent, Africa, has largely agreed to Russian and Chinese colonisation, and will unfortunately remain oppressed and brainwashed.

Most recently, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, enacted on December 22, 2023, prohibits the President from unilaterally withdrawing from NATO without approval of a two-third Senate super-majority or an act of Congress. So to the people of Europe or pro west no.need to worry about Trump leaving nato.

I may not agree with Marx on much, in fact I consider Marxism a mental contagion that unleashed and continues to bring untold abject misery upon mankind, but he definitely had a point when he said "History repeats itself; first as tragedy, then as farce." Seeing Putin attempt to transform the Russian Federation back into the USSR and the new Cold War that has resulted from these revanchist efforts reminded me of that poignant quote. The main reason our media and state representatives and institutions in the West refuse to admit how similar Putin's new mobilized Russia is to the Soviet Union of the latter half of the 20th century is because, amongst the Western political class and journalist class, there is actually quite a bit of sympathy for Marxist ideas and particularly Western Marxism's cultural products like the obsession with political correctness and the love of criticizing white people, and because they often have a warped, rose-tinted (or at least overly ambiguous, not acknowledging the atrocities that were and are commonplace in Marxist regimes) idea of what the Soviet Union was like, in fact the idea that the Soviet Union was (at worst) the "lesser of two evils" in WWII is a foundational part of post-war consensus mythology. In reality, the Soviet Union produced a far worse quality of life for far more people, not to mention causing far more civilian casualties, than even the Third Reich, which was actually economically quite prosperous, let alone the Italian Fascists, whose victims were minimal in number in comparison to those of the Bolsheviks. Calling the Russists that support the war in Ukraine "fascists" is more insulting to the Italian Fascists (and anyone else that ever labeled themselves as such) than it is to the Russists themselves. They weren't nearly as inhumane as these pro-Z butchers. For instance, when the Italian Fascists took over Ethiopia, one of the first things they did was abolish slavery, which had gone on for hundreds of years and was quite commonplace there even up through the 1920s and 30s because no European countries had managed to colonize it yet. Most people don't really have any idea what the ideology of fascism entails, they just use the term as a synonym for "tyranny" in a vague sense. Of course, Russia is dominated by despotism and kleptocracy, but it doesn't actually abide by any of the core tenets of fascism as expressed in Giovanni Gentile's Origins and Doctrine of Fascism, the foundational tome of fascist beliefs and policies. The Russia Putin is creating shares a lot more in common with the late stage USSR than Fascist Italy or the Third Reich. People in the West have this mistaken idea that in the USSR the core fixation of Marx (economic equality) was achieved, within reason, when in reality the wealth never got redistributed to the working class, it was instead hoarded by the Soviet elites like the apparatchiks, siloviki, and Party-approved intelligentsia, and spent in inordinate amounts on developing and manufacturing tons of sophisticated weaponry. Just like anywhere else, the USSR had a class system, a hierarchy of power, wealth and privilege, they just gaslighted and threatened the poor into pretending everything was hunky dory, that they lived in a proletarian paradise and that most people in the West were starving under the horrors of the free market. "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others." Orwell hit the nail on the head there. Amazing he never stepped foot in the USSR, considering how well he had it figured out. Fascism has an honesty to it that the Russist ideology lacks. Fascists didn't try to portray themselves as the victims when they invaded Libya or Ethiopia or whatever, they just said it was their prerogative as a higher civilization to conquer the lands of a lower civilization. But Ruzzians instead try to morally justify their expansionist aggression, or rather, create a false pretense like "denazification" or, in the time of the Soviet Union's war communism footing, freeing the workers of the world from the yoke of capitalist oppression. And I can't stand the way they go "Boohoo, the West is so Russophobic, they hate us for no reason!" as if we invaded them, or as if we started sanctioning them for no reason. The Ruzzian "tough guy" persona is a paper tiger, it masks a fragile ego and a stunted intellect. When I see the nation that brought the world the music of Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Rachmaninoff, ballet, St. Basil's Cathedral, the works of authors and poets like Pushkin, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy and Solzhenitsyn, the Hermitage Museum, the Bolshoi Theatre, the borzoi wolfhound and Fabergé eggs reduced to the gaudy barbarism and idiotic jingoism I have witnessed on the Russian Media Monitor channel, I want to weep.

Actually if the US did withdraw from NATO, it would not be as dangerous for Europe as everyone thinks. Today's Russian Federation is not the Soviet Union. At the height of Soviet power, it would have been militarily possible for them to launch an invasion west, with the help of the warsaw pact countries and potentially go all the way to the English channel, assuming France didn't use its nukes. US help would obviously have been needed. Today is a totally different story. If Russia can't conquer its neighbor Ukraine, how would it take western countries? The exception to this are the isolated Baltics. At this point, Poland is probably stronger than Russia because of its modern weapons. I don't believe that even Trump would be able to take the US out of NATO. There are too many US military companies making a lot of money selling arms to NATO countries. Money talks.
