The bind on mine persists through power cycling. Maybe try assigning a receiver number specifically for this model? I'll try to post a link to my testing video.

Thank you for your investigation. Works good for my 2 year old k989 with protocol v2x2, unfortunately not for my 1 month old 124008 with 'V8' transmitter and its dedicated receiver with protocol xk(420 or450),

Hi donald .. hope you are doing just fine .. if you recall the conversation between us regarding failsafe of the elrs .. Guess what ? This radio is totally weird .. i tried the same steps of irc3 for er5c and that failsafe option never appears ! The other strange that it activates the failsafe automatically w/o any effort from my side. I discovered this by deliberately turning off the tx while doing half throttle and the car just stopped .

I guess you (and I) would have to dive deep into EdgeTX, then we would understand ;-) - but learning EdgeTX is not my hobby, my hobby is RC...

@@donaldsneffeneither do i .. being on rc cars since 1984 . If you ( noticed ) that even the some of youtubers working full job on rc drone still posting wrong or turn to be not fully correct thoughts. The reason is that there is a big difference between developers & professional products. Futaba, kopropo vs edge , open tx for example. Cheers .

I want to say the old WLToys would bind each time on startup. I think the 4-in-1 will do that too but I don’t remember how to do it. Have you tried binding the MT12 to the FMS or HobbyPlus crawlers. The are using the 2-in-1 esc/rx’s?

Won't work with Hobby Plus and FMS with Flysky radio (also not with the old Hobby Plus with Turbo Racing radios).

@donaldsneffe Can you tell me why my transmitter does not have the Multi option under internal RF? I only have it under External RF. I have searched and searched, thinking that I have the wrong version, but on my box it straight says MULTI.

I assume you have the EU version (as I). You have to update firmware with the US version. Check Armin RC, he has many videos about the MT12. Before updating/changing firmware I also did not have most protocols.

No, no and "I do not know". Tried a lot with TRX-4M, but it does not work. Traxxas protocol in the 4-in-1 seems only to work with the very old Traxxas models. FCX24 does use Flysky ANT protocol (as the new Hobby Plus trucks and SCX24 v2 (blue receiver), unfortunately does not work with Flysky ANT and Flysky AFHDS 3 protocols (Noble), but does work with the old Flysky AFHDS and AFHDS 2A protocols. Does unfortunately also not work with Turbo Racing protocols (1/76 cars, "old " Hobby Plus and RGT micros, FMS Atlas 6x6 and RocHobby Katana). I do not have a Hyper Go, so cannot test, do not know.

Any ideas? Mine had sound for 10 mins, now nothing just haptic, all settings seem to be on for sound in menu's and tried everything, its driving me nuts😂😂 I'm at the point of sending it back or taking it apart...sure its something I pressed maybe😂, thanks if you could help

Which Furitek? The Furitek receiver/ESC unit that will work with FMS and Hobby Plus radios has ANT protocol, and this will unfortunately not work with the MT12. Furitek Avatar I do not know if it works (website says FRK-1 protocol).

Have you any ideas? Just bought one of these, the sound worked for 10 mins, now no sound, just haptic, in the settings sound is on "all"and volume up,as far as I can see everything is on but nothing from speaker, is there anyway to test the speaker? Or have I pressed something, thanks in advance if you can help...its driving me nuts atm😂😂

No idea. I would reset to factory settings and/or flash it again - if then sound still doesn't work, it is probably a hardware problem. Never heard of sound problems so far.

@@hanger9uk665 Everything is on the SD card. You can either connect the radio by USB-C to your computer or take out the SD-card and insert it to your computer. Simply exchange/overwrite the orders with the factory firmware.

Do not have it, so cannot try - but probably yes, as the old WLToys to V2x2. xk420 is a protocol in the list of the Radiomaster 4-in-1.
