The only thing that sucks, is you have to be picky about who pokes you, some people are newbies or just down right suck at finding a vein and poke and probe you till a vein bursts then they gotta switch arms lmao hassle but worth the lives you’re saving.

What is plasma exactly I searched it up and or said the stuff in your blood but I’m still hesitant to donate . I don’t want to do so without knowing if can’t impact my body negatively

It's basically what holds protein in your body. Don't worry, plasma centers won't allow you to donate if they think it could harm you. They do measurements of your plasma and blood before you can donate. And your body builds plasma back uo very fast so you really aren't losing anything. Your blood is pumped back into you through the same tube so you don't lose any blood either. It's very a very safe process.

Dude I can never donate anything bc I get to light headed when I see a needle in my skin I literally sometimes black out or I throw up for no reason idk if I have a phobia or idk

It's a little uncomfortable,not too unbearable I took some extra strength aspirin before going in. It also makes the process go faster. Takes me approx 40 minutes to donate

Ok so when I went it was my first time so it took longer they put the netel in It starts taking the plasma it not painful at all but when the saline goes it it cold and you might be dizzy after but that about it

You feel a mild sting on the puncture site cause there’s a piece of metal in your arm and your body is trying to close it, other than that you’re good if you have something to distract you like music or a show/movie, most people go after work and they’ll be exhausted, I don’t recommend doing so as being tired and exhausted will cause discomfort. Also be sure to hydrate the night and morning before that way it makes the process faster, if you’re hydrated, and ate right it should take 30-45 minutes, if you didn’t hydrate and eat it’ll take 60-95 minutes to complete fully, oh and you’ll get dizzy since you don’t have anything to convert into energy.
