Donating to the Libraries, Food Pantry, and New Camera Fun!

Happy New Year everybody!! We’re back for another daily adventure that we are so excited to share with you! We had a blast going around and donating the books we found yesterday to Little Free Libraries in our area. We also donated some food to the free pantry and took our new toy camera out for some fun experimenting at the dumpsters! It’s seriously such a fun little way to be creative and we hope you enjoy hanging out with us on this beautiful first day of 2025. I saw one at a park that I stop at for lunch when I’m in the area. I keep books in my work truck just in case I’m in the area.

I fill a free little library in our park and I put a least 50 books in weekly. People donate the books to me to help keep it filled!

I have a little free library at our house...my husband built it and we registered it so everyone who has the app can find it. I love taking care of it and sharing with my neighborhood. We have a daycare down the street and in the spring and summer they bring the kids to pick out books. I put pencil boxes in it at the start of the school year with school supplies, I put out book marks, and I love coming up with ideas each year and season to make it more than a book box. Thank you for using them! The non profit that started the little free libraries promote sharing books as a response to banned books, and I love that!

I enjoyed every video in December and I’m so happy to see more in January. I just love you and Alex. Such pure enjoyment watching you two. If you had taken off the clear side door and added a cat cushion, Bones would have slept in the new pet room 😊

I'm glad you donated some books to the little free libraries, a lot of people don't know about them but you can get maps for each city to see where they are. We have so many where I live and I've gone to every free library in a day just to see what was available and to donate books I didn't want. I love your creativity with the little camera and you're so right it's hard to catch people being normal when you pull out a smart phone. I used to love photographing my trips and animals or whatever and I dabbled with scrapbooking. Now I haven't owned just a camera in about 8 years and I find that I don't photograph as much. I think my goal for the year will be to get a real camera and start capturing the beauty of nature and every day life again. Happy new year!!🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

The little libraries and pantries are so wonderful! My 9 year old and 4 year old grandchildren love to stop at the little libraries. Sometimes we make a play day of going all over town to them and dropping off and choosing a couple new books to take. Our family has always been big believers of the written word from a very young age - I even got my 6 month old granddaughter her first set of books for Christmas. But these were like chew on cloth crinkly sounding simple picture and one word books…lol! She shares them with the puppy😅♥️🐶👶

I love the little instamatic camera we used to have them all the time I'm 70 years old and that's all we knew you're right I don't like these camera phones because keep taking pictures and you never ever get them developed so I at least I don't I don't know yes so this camera is a lot of fun and I'm glad to see you guys having fun with it .

Omg ty for bringing another video. Women’s shelters with their kids could benefit from the books. I love repurpose- you have so many little collections - make a huge wall in your house just for your dumpster art. Collect bottles and use for tree art-endless dumpster possibilities. Love you guys.

Also I thought I would tell you about using the old photo albums. Don't use the sticky or magnetic. for in time the items will stick than if you try to remove them it tears them. My mom used them to put her photos, and it ruined them when we tried to take them out. Keep doing what you both do. You both are such a cute passionate couple.

I was going to say the same thing about the photo albums with the magnetic pages. They will destroy your pictures. I took a lot of pictures when I was younger and those photo albums were the “new” thing. Easy to put the pictures in but the pages either stick to the photos so badly they are ruined if you try remove them or the sticky eventuality goes away and all your photos fall out.

Happy New Years!! 🎉 I wanted to put my 2 cents in.. the one activity that really helps me be calm is painting.. I started out with nail polish and rocks 😂 I still paint rocks but now I use posca paint pens, and I also paint little pieces of wood and resin them and leave them laying around town wherever I go 😂 I also have started painting canvases and I am enjoying that a lot! I actually JUST finished a couple I painted especially for yall and I will be sending them out along with the Christmas card(s) 😂 stay fantabulous!! ❤ yall 🤗

I watched a trash to treasure, a guy welded together bicycle rims into a dome, minus 2, for an opening and grew climbing plants on it, and seeded shade growing grass under, now the family has a nice cool sweet place to hang out in, or a kiddy pool can fit in it to soak hot feet, a couple chairs and lil tabke for sun tea.
