Today I start out at Goodwill thrift store looking for items to flip online on sites like eBay and Facebook. Then I shop with ‪@Snyder0901‬ at one of our favorite places to visit. The Giving Store in Henderson always has some great items to flip and keep. It is also time to call it quits and I share some banana bread.

I've never done the bins but I really don't have a desire to either. It seems so chaotic and stressful. I've read horror stories about people getting into fights and people stealing things from other's carts. Seems like more trouble than it's worth.

The ceramic "bookends" are not bookends at all. They are Staffordshire mantle figurines. They were made with a flat back so that they would sit on the mantle flat against the wall in the back. I just learned this recently myself when I was researching some I picked up. Generally speaking they don't have much paint on the back either because no one sees it

That large gilt decorated round covered dish, likely used non-food safe glazes. For decorative use only. Could have been Chinese. There were not a lot of Japanese items made with that labeling.

Not bookends. Called flatbacks. They are meant to sit up against a wall, which is why the backs are blank. A take off of Staffordshire pottery Victorian and Edwardian designs.
