Love these. Amazing way to learn.. Just a shame I didn't have this 20 years ago 🤣. Still, I'm just looking, not for a tear, just because my dad was diagnosed. Now I'm just interested in these drugs and how they might help.. Basically, it's not a great medication. It slows, but things will still continue to get worse. How can they say it slows the progression of the disease. That's a pretty unmeasurable statement if each case is unique. If a controlled group of, for example, two groups of 1000 randomly selected patients were given and not given one of these treatments then followed up each month with memory tests, I supposed then you could plot improvement, worsening or steady state symptoms. Even so, these medications seem like extreme examples of nothing left to lose.. Throw what we got at it.

Donepezil caused so many problems in my Aunt in just a week. Lethargy, confusion, decline in comprehension, and incontinence. I just stopped the medication. I hope to see improvement soon.
