Dong Jin or Understanding Jin in Taiji is not only used to understand how to push people. But to understand how to deal with the opponent's force in any position. /*This is just the training, not fighting.

Any chance you can demonstrate against a real grappler or wrestler?

You think Taiji isn’t grappling? 🤥🤥🤣😂

@@thedoctor7151 taiji should be grappling, yet the majority of taiji practitioners cannot grapple, and most videos showing taiji vs practitioners of other grappling arts are either embarrassing to taiji, or fake/artificial (eg, the "wrestler" is not really a wrestler). Demonstrations of the grappling efficacy of taiji are sorely needed.

@@thedoctor7151 no, there aren't. Not on KZbin, not against competent opponents. I've thrown some people around too. But friendly skill exchange with skilled grapplers is rare to see. For the most part, Ian Sinclair and the others show it working on people who have obviously never learned to grapple or strike for real, they're often off balance in the first place before the taiji practitioner has to do anything. There's a few that are a bit better but we could use a lot more

It would be more interesting to see one of the students using the technique on you or another student. It looks like you have many skills but you are unable to teach them and that's why your students look so weak.

You shouldn't comment based only on watching one video. Here is a video where Sifu Liang did exactly what you suggested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHSceaR4fdqgfKM
