One of the most important knowledge that was ever given in the net regarding Tai chi, and internal movement. This video is a treasure, thank you so much Sifu, to expound it so clearly, you are a very generous person.

This is probably the most that can be said in an open forum about NeiJing and FaJing. There is much more going on here than is discussed but that's no surprise. This subject is difficult at the best of times even on a one to one situation. Using the inadequate to describe the indescribable is never easy. Nice video.

Thank you, the explanation is just great, very clear. You explained not only the nature of Fa Jin. The explanation gives a good picture why many taiji people show just a bad wrestling or even nothing in push-hand competition or even while trying just to push. They are like a sniper without a riffle. Like an archer without a bow. Like a cartridge without gunpowder.

I kind of understand the explanation. But sadly I still have no idea what Nei Jin is. I wist to come to visit you one day. In the meantime can you please give me some advice on what excersise to practice to get better grasp of Nei Jin? I'm mostly practicing form of 88 movements or standing practice every now and then. Thank you!

@@erwinwizzy Lotus Neigong has an academy offering a 40USD monthly subscription which is pretty affordable. I think Nei Jin is quite a complex subject requiring many hours of investment from both student and teacher. It's unreasonable to expect to learn it quickly from free resources, and for teachers to share all their knowledge for free after having invested so much time and effort themselves to learn, especially if you are learning in person. There may be teachers teaching genuine skills for free or very cheaply, but at the bare minimum you'd have to invest time and effort to reach them and learn. The teachers running academies are doing this full time, and unless government compensates them as a public health service, how else will they continue without student's fees?

do more standing - twenty, thirty, forty minutes, keep relaxing and observing your body, on a daily basis. As far as I know this is the way to build up that internal force.

The biggest wall to learning this stuff is the training model. It is intentionally difficult, vague, deflective, obscure, and obfuscatory. If you want this, find a teacher who will actually transmit this to you and throw away the terminology and mystical salesmanship nonsense that keeps fools spending their money on words. Martial Arts are a ridiculous mess held hostage by greedy, tiny egos.

Hello Liang. Thank you for the summary of the four parts. Could you please show me 'the closing'..? Is it the same as rising but in reverse..? I think I have most of it already. I am self-taught for the last twenty years, although, in the beginning I was with the Huang Sheng Shyan group in New Zealand, under Master Sing Ong. I am not interested in fighting. To paraphrase Confucius: "you can show me one corner of a square, and I will discover the other corners by myself." But if it is your style secret, them I also understand.

This guy looks fit and sounds well educated, which means he must know that testing ideas is the only way to establish them. No one with a brain simply believes without proof. And the more testing you do the better the final result. Scientific Analysis. I would like to see this guy set some real fights with real fighters. Test this stuff VS multiple different REAL scenarios.
@perrypelican9476
@perrypelican9476 2 жыл бұрын
Fighting against fighters is a whole different thing. You have to prepare and train in a different way. I think he could be very effective in mma, for example, but using Jin is not a guarantee win against every fighting technique. Imagine if he was attacked with fast kicks and punches. Jin can be used but you also have to be able to block strikes and end a fight. Pushing an opponent is handy and having good take down defense but there is a lot more needed. I agree that this guy could use his taiji effectively but he would have to want to fight, which he probably does NOT. Teaching might be his passion, not being punched.

IMO, Authentic Tai Chi lineage holders aren't going to teach how to create and transfer short power Jin (not long power passing through partner as demonstrated here as a harmless training method) into an opponent's organs, joints, etc..in a public youtube video. That would be irresponsible and the neigong training is needed first anyways. I also don't know why every internal martial artist who doesn't have the desire to hurt people in the octagon is considered fake or incompetent by MMA people. Just because you want to see an internal martial arts master demonstrate their arts effectiveness in MMA or real combat situations, doesn't mean they have to appease that lower desire or teach secret techniques to those who enjoy fighting and seek it out. Many traditional martial artists are sworn to only use lethal force in actual life or death combat. To many, to compete in MMA or teach it to MMA fighters would be dishonoring their lineage and system of ethics. Many martial artists have no desire for hurting others unnecessarily. The only way to stop some MMA fighters would be lethal techniques. Not affiliated with this school in any way, just giving my two cents regarding coming from a place of ego and demanding Masters publicly teach inner door secrets on KZbin or join MMA competition. Just not reasonable expectations. Doesn't mean that complete systems of Tai Chi Chuan have no martial arts value because their practitioners don't pursue competitive MMA fighting. I think this lineage holder and also Sifu Adam Mizner demonstrate plenty of Jins in their free videos. Search him too. But I don't expect them to teach me how to drum/vibrate lethal Jins on KZbin or them to take up competitive MMA fighting in their middle age. Just saying. Reasonable expectations. Their desires may not be yours and they may be perfectly at peace with that. That also doesn't mean they can't defend themselves if attacked in real life by an average criminal. My first Karate instructor taught me the ultimate win is physically avoiding or verbally neutralizing the attacker without actual fighting.

Thanks for the knowledge. You are one of the few very high level taiji chuan masters making videos. Every time i watch another video, your English is improved. I have to tell you something you do not say properly. You say the letter P as a letter F when it ends a word. You say tyfe instead of type. P is always pronounced like P. Just being helpful. Please make more videos.
