Good day I want to thankyou for helping with a pho 'ne interview this week , they now want a video interview today or tomorrow , but I was searching for info on a "retiree or " senior " interview help.... I assumed from my resume they wouldn't ask the inevitable question " where do you see........in 5 years ?" UGH! they did !

I'm just going to stop here near the beginning and throw in some hogwash. You cannot tell a person's mood through body language, not at least until you personally know them well. Not looking someone in the eyes isn't a guarantee that someone is a liar, or not paying attention - that's a well known autistic trait. In fact, it's been seen that autistics who make the effort to create eye contact actually pay LESS attention to the actual conversation, mainly because they're so focused at looking at the other person instead of being engaged with the words being said! Now, if you started saying that hiring managers foolishly look for these body language "cues", regardless of their validity, that would be one thing, but hearing so many ways about how I use my body doesn't necessarily carry the meaning that others think it does. Blech you do go over eye contact. Now I know for sure this is all baloney. Hey, how about instead of forcing people to perform in a way that makes others "think" positively, how about we just abolish these myths instead! Like, are most autistics just going to appear deceitful forevermore because eye contact is uncomfortable for many of us? This is how stupid it is. Someone recommended I watch your channel for tips on job searching, but with just this video I know not to. You're not going to help me. FIDGETING TOO? WHY NOT SAY THAT AUTISTICS CANNOT GET A JOB EVER WHILE YOU'RE AT IT. WOW. And if you want us to be ourselves, stop telling us to not be ourselves!
