Diane Keaton has super attuned radar! By the end of this interview, she is doubling down on Dave's casual sarcasm and irony in every way! A total boss, and her movie that she was promoting here, "Heaven", is still a really fun documentary about what can't be documented. It's awesome!

When 'he says its incredibly nice seeing you' and she shrugs an pushed him away in a funny way,,,implies that they must of had a romantic fling together, plus 3 minutes lates when she states 'you would be so good to come home to' ...is also a very touching clue that she romantically adores him for humor.

Keaton has a great look - now. In her early outings in Woody Allen films, she chose to present herself with frizzy hair, no makeup and generally looking like something that crawled out from under a bridge. She was particularly frowzy in Manhattan and really dreadful-looking in Interiors, but then Interiors was a really dreadful film. She's at her best in comedies and should stick to her strong suit.

@user-jl7ym4en5b4 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with " Marshhen" Laughing nervously as if she's never been out of the house before. FIdgeting in her chair. It is all very distracting. She is an accomplished actress, director and producer. Is that how she behaves when someone comes over to her house to interview her? I think it is a total "put on" and it is annoying. Cute and ditzy - no!, she still pulls this nonsense 33 yrars later. Yet she spoke before Congress, asking for more government funding for cancer research alongside Olvia N-J and Sally F. . Somehow Keaton was able to sit upright and not laugh, remain focused and present a coherent case. This act is a complete waste of everyone's time, (like her awful "Baby Boomer" ?)
@SisterJanet4 жыл бұрын
@@user-jl7ym4en5b Well clearly, there is a huge difference between speaking before Congress about an extremely serious issue she cares deeply about and a stupid slot on a silly chat show to promote a movie. Maybe she was having a bad day and wanted to be elsewhere or was overtired and couldn't summon the energy to play along.

@user-jl7ym4en5b4 жыл бұрын
Pfffft, that was hard to get through. She's @ 40 here. An accomplished actress acting like a fidgety child, not able to sit in a chair w/o bobbing back & forth. Laughing out of turn. Come on, she is still pulling this act 33 years later. It's tiresome. Does she laugh nervously when a journalist interviews her at her home? Does she behave this way in film production meetings? I would not think so. It is so "put on". She continues to do this Annie Hall "on speed" act in 2020. I have seen her speak before Congress, (also a large BUT DISCERNING crowd), and she behaved like the adult that she is. This giggling "adolescent" shtick is rubbish.

Wow. You're a bit bitter. I have terrible anxiety and I will literally shrivel n my hands will violently shake in front of most people....but I also go on stage and perform educational shows in front of hundreds of people because it is my job and I love it and it gives me strength. I can def understand how Dressing up to talk about urself on a talk show could make u feel like this....but doing something she is very passionate about and is not about her makes her probably makes her confident. Dont judge someone by one situation. I am the most confident person when in my element. Take me out, and its like taking a fish out of water. I will simply die

@user-jl7ym4en5b4 жыл бұрын
@@melinayeamon2830 Sorry for your having to suffer with anxiety. I meant no disrespect to people like yourself. However, I do feel her "muddled, rocking stop/ start speaking" is allv"Annie Hall", the character. People say "oh she's cute, quitky". I sat 20 feet away from her at a Congressional Hearing where she and Olivia Newton-John each had the floor for 15 minutes. They were requesting more $ for Breast Cancer Research. Olivia was great she has had the disease for @ 30 years now & was quite empassioned. Then Diane got up, and in a room of 250 people was calm, cool and articulate. I don't get it. It makes all of that distracting Annie Hall behavior seem like shtick. My opinion - she seems to be able to turn it onand off. She is a fine actress and writer I just feel like 1977 called and wants that act back? Sincere wishes for the best to you in battling anxiety and panic attacks. I have a friend with panic disorder and it is tough for him. I know whatever med. he takes is very effective.
