Need a series on saddle making. From tree to the finished product. I'm not a horseman, don't ride and never will. (2 back surgeries made sure of that) I'm still very interested in saddles. Worked at a feed store for many years. Sold many saddles, mostly circle y and tucker.

Did you ever try using Mink Oil Paste ( it's like Saddle Soap Consistency ) as a Lube & Waterproofing the 3/8" Leather Strapping.
