Oh my goodness I've always wanted to know what it is like to drive a Mk7 Golf GTi at the Donington Park Trackday Circuit track but now I don't need to because my favourite MR2 Racing car driver DannyDC2 drove one for me and told me the opinions I should have and that is nice and exciting.

Don't the Golfs with performance pack have a proper mechanical diff, electronicly controlled?
@dreamcrusher1122 жыл бұрын
If they are the same as the other performance VAG fwd's then it is a clutch driven diff, electronically controlled. Very competent but can spit you laterally.

What did you think of these Cobra Nogaro seats compared to your favourite, the Recaro Pole Position? I'm trying to choose a pair of fixed back seats to take a lot of weight out of my car and add more lateral support but it's my everyday drive too so the lower bolsters might be better for my use.

hard brakes setting the belt off
@davidhorrocks26272 жыл бұрын
VAG cars have electronic seat belt pre-tensioners rather than the old fire and forget gun powder style, if you had had the windows down they would have closed as the car was preparing you and it for a crash, which clearly didn't happen, if you approach an object to quick or get to close they also auto brake which could also be a bad thing on track.

you can see the gear lever is knocked over to the left which means it is in manual mode so you can shift sequentially with the lever or paddles, the paddles move with the steering wheel so they are hidden behind it
