I am suprised that Kunde didnt do the high E flat written in the tenor part.... it's so easy for him.

It may have been the conductors choice not to have him sing it? Also perhaps after taking on heavier roles he's chosen to eschew notes above a D? I know he sings the D's in the Rossini Otello duet with Rodrigo.

kunde ist zweifellos ganz grossartig, aber pendatchanska ist die zukunft der oper. sie ist unvergleichlich gut. hier namen zu nennen wäre gefrevelt.
