Julien K techno is dead, it developed into some kind of weird industrial boring slow shit, it lost passion and creativity. Each track of ‘modern’ techno sounds very same to me and you get bored after few minutes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the same. There's still some good stuff coming out, but it's extremely rare among the shovelware that litters the scene nowadays. The early '00s where truly the golden era, where you could go to the record store every week and go home with some very solid records.

@@Dejanthedj I Don't agree, techno is still amazing on these last 10 years with recent massive release like Ellen Allien, Efdemin, Modeselektor, Slam, Shlomo, Madben, Reeko, Daniel Avery, Nina Kraviz, Marcel D., Ben Klock, Josh Wink, PAS, I Hate Models, Setaoc Mass, Carl Craig, DJ Deep & Roman Poncet, and labels like Token, Soma, Ostgut Ton, Mote Evolver, Ovum, Delsin, Klockworks etc...

Lucky you! I used to have roughly 400 Bangin techno vinyls. Now I’ve only got about 70. I bought them for about €10 each then sold most of them for €1 each to my local record shop when I was strung out on crack & heroin 😥 so pissed off with myself for that! I’m clean now though & starting to build my collection again!
