they had a vocal unit during this promotion. "From Home" the song is in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English. There are two versions in terms of MV one is the official version and the other is the nostalgic version. On the album (this is Resonance era) you can also find a song called "My Everything" sung by Renjun, Xiaojun, and Taeil. It's a masterpiece you can take a listen to that too if you want.

Make A Wish is so iconic. If you want the vocalists than oh boy you'll be pleased to know the next song is "From Home" which is fantastic. If you watch that you HAVE to also check out the "From Home (Re-arranged version)" also, preferably the live stage from MAMA 2020 but if not that then the re-arranged version mv which uses the audio from that live stage. Also in case you didn't know NCT 2020 had 4 title tracks: Make A Wish, From Home, 90s Love, and Work It. Then Resonance was the finale. You should definitely check out all of Resonance album (pt. 1 and 2) for those vocalists combinations you were wishing for also! Specifically "My Everything" which combines Xiaojun, Taeil and Renjun. Shotaro is one of our newbies yeah he's a killer dancer! He's been dancing since he was 5 and was a back up dance for several big Japanese acts like Gackt and was also in multiple dance crews in Japan. He also had a following on tik tok doing dances before he joined NCT. The next new face will be Sungchan in 90s Love!

yeah for the vocals definitely From Home is where it is at, especially if you are going in order of the releases for NCT 2020 it goes like this: Make a Wish, From Home, 90s Love, and Work It. Then you have NCT 2020 Resonance which has all 23 of them in it, its actually such a crazy and amazing video. When you check that out, for a dance practice they have a MAMA practice that they taped for it, it isn't the choreography like all of it, but you do get to see moments of the performance practice, or you could just watch the live performance they did at MAMA, or you could watch both, I don't think any of us would complain about that.

Shotaro is a new member and SM Entertainment basically picked him up and immediately added him to NCT. So his dance ability didn't come from SM training but his own. I believe he mentioned he's been dancing since he was 5 and prior to joining SM, he was working as a backup dancer for some artist in Japan. His still new so he currently doesn't have a "fixed" NCT unit yet but SM has been hinting at a new NCT unit to debut this year. So far, this is the only comeback he's in and we don't know much about him but we do know he's an incredible dancer. He's definitely be someone to keep an eye on.

I think Boss & Make A Wish are NCT U's best songs! These two songs are just so good. Personally, among the 4 main units in NCT2020 era, I like NCT U Make A Wish unit the most because I think the members in this unit are well very picked. The members in other units fit their own groups too ofc but MAW unit is just different... It's a song with a strong concept and every member just shines. Each member in MAW unit has their own stage presence, which I think is important for this song. Each time someone appears and takes the centre spot, they just own it. As someone whose bias is Jaemin, I'm so happy to see him in this unit. After watching his solo fancam for MAW I was in awe because the way he danced seemed different than when he was in NCT Dream omg, in fact he really got the groove and he looked like he just moved his body along with the song. There's just something different about Jaemin in MAW. I swear I'm not being biased! Idk how to describe this little difference I saw in Jaemin lol I hope you'll check it out and let me know haha. Good thing you didn't watch the English version, the lyrics are super questionable there 😂 Taeyong added A LOT to the MV. The slide entrance at the beginning, the solo dances at the end in the fire and the most iconic - him swinging off the chandelier are one of the biggest inputs. (he had to repeat this part over 30 times - this said rip Taeyong's waist) Also his hair & bandana, beads and glitter makeup.. I'm not so sure about the drop move, but considering it was part of the MV there's a high chance it was his idea too. Our beloved idea bank Taeyong. Shotaro, the new member, he's been a part of a dancing group in Japan, toured with many known artists like GACKT as a backup dancer, I think he even was a part of a bboy group or something (can't remember now). He posted a lot of TikTok dances too Basically, he's been learning how to dance and actively dancing in groups since he was young and it shows, his dancing is super powerful. He covered GOT7's Hard Carry with some other 00'liners from other kpop groups. You can find it easily. Or if you want to learn some more about him you can check his Relay Cam, he was learning 90's Love choreo there with Sungchan, though the full cover and some other ones are posted on NCT's Twitter. He's also NCT's TikTok boy now, he did some challenges from other groups. He's gonna pop off on the new unit, he's really someone you should keep your eye on. And yeah, the praying gesture is because of "Make A Wish". This whole song is so iconic and fun, NCT seriously can do insane things with the U unit. So many combinations... I remember how this song dropped Mark told us that we look so good, streaming it so well. It got over 25mil in the first 24 hours breaking NCT records and making the neos super happy. Even after a week when it got 50mil, Taeyong said it was worth the pain of swinging off the chandelier so many times 😭 Now it's the most streamed MV, with Boss being second (your two fave songs being top huh? Guess you're not the only one 😂) This song's dance break, the super heavy bass part is so crazy. The whole song is crazy really, it's so damn fast, even the body rolls are in literal 2x speed. I really like the "praying motion" though and the catchy whistle, it really makes you feel like you have birthday every time you listen to it (And it's stuck in your head forever). I didn't know that the move towards the end is something new, that's pretty interesting! Thanks for telling us ♥️

I knew you would enjoy this one. The grooves are on point and the charisma is off the charts. Yup, definitely not one of their most challenging choreos but a dance doesn't have to be challenging to be satisfying. The context of the praying hands and the concept in general is that they're playing Genies and they grant wishes. That's why the song is "make a wish". The hands is the universal sign of asking for something. And about the vocalists, there's a NCT all vocalist song: "From Home". Where have you been??? I just found you for the first time and hit subscribe! this U subunit was such a fresh reshuffle of NCT members and they clearly had a blast together. Particularly Taeyong & Lucas who hit a new level of swag in SuperM & bought it home here. Btw I dont wanna put TOO much on it cause folks get hysterical about taeyong when they hear INJURY!!!! But truth is taeyong does most of the risky bboy drops and it takes a toll. So he must be forgiven cause as you said he.did nail it in the MV and most of the live stages but by this time taeyonG who had come through a really booked 2020 was dancing hurt. those neck isolations were merciless! He did some stages in neck patches and his reoccurring "waist injury" was kicking up too. He'd lost weight and was risking burnout. For taeyongs sake SM (i think wisely) didnt bend to fandom demands for Taeyong's personal medical details (and SM took major heat for protecting his privacy) but by the very end of the 23 comeback it was clear that taeyong, who powers through any adversity, really couldn't fake it...anymore. He dropped out of the last stages & beyond live concert & went on hiatus for a few anxious months. He came back to slay in gimmie gimmie and the new superM single. He's dancing carefully and not taking big risks so far. He's dropping some great solo song demos at sound cloud and we're hoping hes on the mend fully cause life is inconceivable without That Boy dancing.

I think Taeyong is an artist/creative at heart. Even on his hiatus and taking a break from dancing, he was writing/composing his own music. He was also learning English, and taking acting lessons because as he says - to perform is to act. I think he is very resilient (continually developing/learning), kind hearted, and such a great role model.

@@drenkard I totally agree! Though Taeyong's hiatus was announced for rest & recuperation from his injuries, it was also a much needed rest for his busy head. Taeyong has come SO FAR SO FAST in his career and done it all so well! While he is extraordinary in all aspects of his work, he had been weary in his vlives and expressed wanting a time out to relax & give thought to where he would like to take his talent from here. In that pursuit he has used that time out to work on his solo songs and offer those demos on SoundCloud and broadened his fandom interaction on instagram. There's NCT U from home that has the NCT main vocals for the NCT2020 promotion.....you should react to it and also the rearranged version because it's all about them vocalzz. There are other NCT U songs that highlight vocals like Without You, Coming home, timeless and my everything.
