We were invited over by Peacehill Farm to see their rye harvest near Fife in Scotland. Donkey and Gazza couldn't resist bringing the 4220 and Smyth trailer to see how she faired against the Stewart Roadkings and the steep Scottish hills! 💪
GRASSMEN are the fast-paced, global agriculture phenomenon whose video content and merchandise are recognised worldwide. The business was started in 2009 by current director Gareth Gault, known to fans as ‘Donkey’. His love and passion for machinery allowed him to experiment with cameras and upload content to KZbin. To his surprise, a large following soon developed and the niche in the market for real-life, documentary, farming and machinery action made it possible to drive the brand forward.
We at GRASSMEN, pride ourselves on providing an exclusive look into agricultural manufacturers, meeting real, working farmers, showing and demonstrating farming machinery through all seasons such as silage and slurry, and ultimately educating and entertaining our fans.
If you love all things agriculture from top manufacturers such as John Deere, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, JCB, Land Rover and many many more, come and join #teamgrassmen, we would love to have you.
You can also stay in touch and get exclusive behind the scenes with us over on socials:

The comfort of modern tractors sitting in near armchair seats having a normal conversation. I remember the Ford 7000 a passenger standing and we shouting to talk. Happy days

Good video and an impressive set up. It's good to see you didn't edit out the squeaky moments, well at least not three of them! I hope it reminds us all that these machines are not toys and the hills and hollows will bite us no matter how much it all costs, how shiny it is or how good we think we are. Have fun and don't be afraid to slow down and make it home...............a little later at times. Love from Cornwall.

Looks like that BigX could use a counterweight... Also, maybe it's just me, but I'm not at all surprised that a small FastTrac would have trouble with that kind of load, at that kind of grade. They're geared for speed, not grunt, and the particular model you have is *way* too small for work like that. Having said that, the heaviest FastTrac you can get would likely *still* have problems with it. FastTracs may be good at road-travel, but they are *not* good at pulling loads up grades (or field-work in general). That's not what they were designed to do. Just look at how under-built they are. If you tried ballasting it down with that kind of load behind it, it would probably break in half lol. There's a reason why wheel-weights are a rare sight on FastTracs. Care to guess what that reason is? lol I'll give you a hint... "Crash, bang, boom."

Good advert for those roadking tyres! Went to college with Ross Forster who has that farm. Is the idea of AD plants not to save burning coal and fossil fuels to produce electricity? How many litres of diesel are being burnt to produce the feedstuff for that AD plant?

It's somethings like 600 or 700 cubic meters of gas the plant produces per hour 24/7/365 there is a lot to get the crop in but it produces a colossal amount of gas. Which is pumps as gas to homes etc not into generators.

I drove past when you took the team pictures, I don’t understand why good land is used for this, or how the cost inputs work. Even worse food is going into a few ADs, rather than selling it.

Farming is about reducing the rate at which carbon is released back into the atmosphere. Plus farmers have done more than anyone to reduce wildfires and intentional burning of cropland. Don't fail to think things through.
