I remember there was a school yard rumor that you could unlock Banjo to help the Kongs in DK 64. I wish it was true. It's so sad to see how these two series suffered with the deterioration of Rare. Specifically Banjo.

This is something I've been wondering about for a few months now. Ever since I last played DK64 and was irritated at how much you had to arbitrarily run back to a barrel to change characters, I've been asking myself - how much better would it play if you just had Banjo and Kazooie, and they learned all the necessary moves instead. They already have a gun (kinda) and instruments, they can fly, do ground pounds, can run super fast, jump super high and get extra traction for steep surfaces, so things like shrinking, turning invisible, and...erm... pulling levers could be new moves they could learn. So I'm really glad someone has done this now.

@Starscream91 To me, the Banjo-Kazooie series still share the same universe with the Donkey Kong series even if the former's owned by Microsoft. That's why it irks me every time I see DK in a "Super Mario" merchandise. I know Mario has a history with the Kongs starting with Cranky, but I find that odd as DK and his crew are NEVER playable in the core Super Mario series. 😕

I thought you'd just use Super Mario 64 levels, so this along with the Bomberman level is a nice change of pace! You know, I was wondering what those jars are, but it looks like it's a quick way to remove Mumbo's magic. I'm not sure how you figured that out, but it adds an element to these puzzles. The concept of seeing banjo explore the worlds of other games is awesome! Especially after N&B… I just don’t think this was the way, have them interact with the characters and stories of other games, let them explore the world, have jiggies connected to a series of events that lead up to a boss and then have others scattered for exploration/puzzles. Hell let the bear and bird experience other game genres! Adventure? Boom you’re in Skyrim, like horror? Banjo vs Freddy fazbear! Hell color in the pages of a visual novel, let the player explore that. No disrespect at all to the creators of this mod but sky’s the limit with this concept let your imaginations run wild.
