When I was young and playing this, (too young to actually understand what I was doing) The “orange” option on the profile menu looked more appealing than the bananas. So I pressed it, deleting a file. It also causes a cutscene if I remember correctly, which I enjoyed. This led to me deleting my brothers’ profile of god only knows how many hours. They were nice to me but I could tell they were piiiiisssed!😂

This game makes me sad. I REALLY wanted to play it as a kid but the graphics made me so dizzy that I couldn't play it for more than 30 mins. I even tried playing it laying down but It still made me feel sick. What makes me even more sad is that I tried to watch this playthrough and it also made me dizzy. It's astonishing how much Rare fell off the map after they were sold to Microsoft for $375 million. Without Rare, I wouldn't have any interest in Donkey Kong (will never forget Diddy Kong Racing, DK64, and the Donkey Kong Country series). Rare didn't make DKC Returns or Tropical Freeze, but those games wouldn't exist without Rare's DKC series on the SNES. In fact, I think 1990s Rare (Rareware) showed a lot more respect for Donkey Kong than Nintendo did, generally speaking. The Donkey Kong games on the Gamecube seemed more like attempts to sell bongo controllers. Besides that, they haven't created a brand-new DK game in about 5 years. Meanwhile, Rareware made some of the best games in the series, in my opinion.

When the N64 came out i played several games on it however around that time computers were starting to make their presence felt and i abandoned console playing to do other things and eventually went to playing computer games. For some reason when you play on a PC, console playing is just not that attractive anymore,nothing to do with graphics in my case,just have everything i need on my PC, fast forward all these years later and with the advent of emulators and all that i have been playing all these games for the first time and having a blast,i played half of Turok 2 seeds of evil back then and finished it recently,it a killer game for sure, all these games are a treasure.

I always found the hardest part to be the two Beaver Bother mini games in Creepy Castle. Those frustrated me more than anything else did.
