I never got this far into the game when I played it when I was little but now when I've played it trough at 101% and reached this part, i realised I've missed out on some great music through the years. This is epic!

This level is possibly the most stressful level in any N64 game I played as a kid. Especially the part when you have ten minutes left and K. Rool's face pops up and laughs evilly, that scared the crap out of me the first time!

So I just played this as a rom and I have to say, every bit as epic and amazing as how I remembered it from my N64 days. I got everything as I went, every banana, every Golden Banana, every blueprint. So I had a lot of time when I got to Hideout Helm, but I was still freaking out because of this music and the ticking time clock. BEST GAME EVER!!!

This level proves how unstable K.Rool really is. He's willing to possibly kill himself and everyone on board for the sake of destroying DK's island. Plus, his laugh every few minutes with the time ticking down is unnerving.

I doubt DK64 will be able to be released on VC, due to the inclusion of the original arcade DK game, and the Rare game "Jetpac." Sense the NES version of DK (which is missing a level from the arcade version) is on VC, they won't rerelease it, because Nintendo only wants one version of each game on VC. (That's why we don't have the SNES Wario's Woods, and such.) That's also why Excitebike 64 isn't on VC either, 'cause it has the original Excitebike included in it, which is already on VC.

The thing is Rare sold themselves to Microsoft and everything Donkey Kong is owned by Nintendo. Although that's not to say that this game is now owned by Microsoft. All who vote for this song to be in the next SSB game say I!
