Great music, but that race is one of the hardest parts of the game. I still have recurring nightmares of losing to that beetle a million times.

I could use some help with this race as it's the last Golden Banana I'm missing from Crystal Caves and I know if someone can beat the Canary Mary race in Banjo-Tooie (Me included but it's still flappin hard) then someone can certainly beat the ice slide race against this stupid beetle, I put off doing this Race for so long but now its the only thing I have to do left before Creepy Castle (that and find Lanky's last 10 normal bananas I just like getting each Kong's 100 in each world) *2bcont,*

*Continued* So as a person who's new to this game by never having beaten it (I'm not new to 3D platformers in general as I've played Kazooie, Tooie, Conker, and Mario 64 and plenty others) I could use some advice and help with this race can anyone tell Me a way to beat this guy with 50 coins at the end and not crash into him or at least crash into him a whole lot less. So could anyone please help Me it would be very apperciated, as its driving Me nuts and I want to beat the game with everything.

*Continued* and the reason I feel he's a cheater is because here he is challenging Me to a race but forcing Me to get 50 coins when he doesn't have to do that and also because anytime I touch him he knocks the coins out of Me that I've collected and sometimes when I'm at a part of the slide where I have to go through the air over lava and land on the other side he'll knock Me out in midair and I'll fall into the lava and fail, and I get sick of his annoying insulting laugh I wish *2bcont.*

Geeze right now I'm at this point in the game (believe Me what started out as simple in the first half of the game becomes hard and frustrating in the second half of it DK64 is still fun all the same though if you don't mind collectathons but I could do without the reusing bonus minigames though, but the platformer parts that play out more like Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie still fun) and it's extremely frustrating I mean it's not like the beetle has to worry about collecting 50 coins *2bcont.*

@BlackFuryFx They're made by the same people. I hated that beetle but I tolerated him because he managed to give us great themes in both races.

*Continued and sorry for the long comment I'll understand if anyone hates Me for it* I wish I could squish him underneath My feet, anyways Rare sure did make a ton of unfair races in games, unlocking T.T. in Diddy Kong Racing as well as thje first Wizpig race in that game as well, and then there is Canary Mary in Banjo-Tooie and now I discover the beetle races in DK64. Geeze Rare think you could have made enough harder than flap races in your N64 games? Or were you being jerks to us like usual.
