The way you said "Chunky was there for two weeks," it made me imagine that the Kongs actually only act when you're playing in real-time. Like once you say "take care" and end the episode, they're like "Alright, that's it for the day, let's go get lunch," and K. Rool's Blast-O-Matic is gonna take over a month to prepare.

I always found it funny how Chunky Kong is the loudest motioning for you to pick him when you're on another Kong, but as soon as you select him, he's a big chicken and wants you to pick Tiny instead. When you move off of Chunky he breathes a sigh of relief.

I find Chunky to be the indecisive Kong. He panicks when you pick him, sighs of relief when he's not chosen, yet wants you to pick him when hovering over another.

I just remembered something, be careful with the scope upgrade later, it actually induces lag. Enough lag that later when you have shooting puzzles, it will slow down your shots, while the timer doesn't slow down with it. Just some friendly advice. Hope you avoid that nugget of annoyance! So far, I'm enjoying the LP! Lanky Kong best Kong.

Man, this was a bad video for rolls! Chunky's long jump is his fastest form of movement (similar to Lanky, in that sense), but Scykoh only used it 15 times! I just played this section of this game. The zingers came back. Took a hit, then used damage frames to clip through the zinger to get the golden banana. And love how that one timer gives you 99 seconds though you don't actually need. It also says O Banana but you may not see the the actual prize.

I just got myself an n64 along with dk64, it's been 15 years since I've played and when I got the game the save file was at frantic factory, which has my fav boss! Anyways it's been so long I've needed a walk through to jostle my memory, I'm going to follow your whole walk through:)

My reactions to the video as time goes on: 0:17 I forgot how much I loved the hub music for this section! 1:42 I actually have always seen Chunky's air attack as the worst in the game. It has no range to it, the hitbox is awkward, and it doesn't give you any extra air time or forward momentum like the others do. But I see why you like it; it definitely helps with platforming challenges! 2:34 HE DID IT. HE GRATIFIED ME. HE DID THE THING. 2:59 Before you even HAD Chunky, you had 30 coins for him. Just goes to show how busted Shockwave is. 3:59 Your Cranky impression isn't half bad! 10:50 o_0 I was trying to do that for like ten minutes on my run and you pulled it off first try!

Chunky's air attack does give you air time though. That's why it's useful for platforming.

@@leobarqui5281 No worries. Here's a bonus fun fact with our boy Chunky: he has arguably the biggest jump height in the game, unlike what the DK rap wrongfully states. Using a dash jump, into a backflip, he can jump ridiculously high!
