The metal clanking sound is actually the same tambourine sound, played at a very low pitch.

Oh, thanks. I didn’t know that! Here I used a sample taken from a song in Tropical Freeze soundtrack where the clanking is isolated.

Amazing. How did you make the sound for the metallic sounding drum?
@LucaDiGennaro4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mattilda Hubbardo. Everything you see is from the Moog Sub 37, all the other sounds are from other sources. In the case of the metal clanking sound, I sampled it from the Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze soundtrack. The track was Mangrove Cove (Underwater)
@mattildahubbardo4 жыл бұрын
Luca Di Gennaro thanks for the reply. You did a wonderful job of re creating the tones and overall atmosphere of this track. I especially like that metallic sound on the original track and i have been trying to recreate it. Thanks for letting me know about the tropical freeze track.

@LucaDiGennaro3 жыл бұрын
@@sparkplugrecs.official I used the "Duo mode" of the Sub 37. You can play two notes together and each one triggers just one oscillator. Then, as I had to play four notes, I played 2 notes in the upper frame and 2 notes in the lower one (you can clearly see the top frame is in turn split in two). If you want to know how I made the sound, I don't remember if it's a triangle wave or a saw wave but the most important thing is that you should set a slow attack.
