Also, I noticed that in 0:28 it jumps straight to the heavy riffs, while in the original it has my favorite part, with just the bass riff and a single guitar note fading in, before that part in 0:31. But I'm pretty sure this was what Rare was aiming for at the time, but got limited by the SNES capabilities. But still, like you said, the original is always gonna be instant nostalgia for the fans.

We then hear a deep, growling sinister voice. “Grrrr… this must be the place.” It’s King K. Rool and his Kremling crew! King K. Rool (in Jemaine Clement's voice) says “GRAH HA HA HA HA! Alright then, crew! Let’s get to work!” K. Rool and his crew jump out of their ship with this theme playing in the background, then we fade out.
