Tip for those trying to get all puzzle pieces in this level: it may seem easier to get the puzzle pieces individually as solo DK so that they’re saved upon death and THEN finish the level, but in this instance it’s not worth it. Instead, come to this level with Diddy, and try to get all the pieces in one go. If you die, exit the level and get Diddy from another level and retry. It’s worth the time spent hopping between levels: I finished it much faster this way.

The method of exiting the level to go get Diddy in another level takes a lot of time, like a lot, and you have to get all the puzzle pieces again. Glad it worked for you

this level is definitely one of the hardest levels in the game. The electric bugs are more than half the reason this level is difficult. You first don't get a DK barrel so no diddy kong, and that last section with the two bouncy platforms and the bug follow you, that part ate so many of my lives away when I first tried this level, you have to make some very well timed jumps

that jumping between platforms with the bugs caught me 20+ lives trying to do it legit till i eventually broke down with the banana juive. The level design in a lot of the k stages just seems outright unfair especially when most of them dont have a dk barrel at the beginning which you can get in the boss level and even reg levels at the start of most stages. Dkcr is a fun and great game but with levels like these its mind boggling how the game in general is structured. The difficulty in my experience had many ups and downs and dk games are meant to be played with trial and error. Returns to me just seems pretty unbalanced overall with some levels in the easier worlds crazy diffcult while others in the later worlds were tame. I love the game and it is very creative but I think some of the k stages among others *glares at 7-7 Music madness has interesting ideas but could be absurdly difficult to beat. Just glad they gave dk and diddy both 2 hearts. Cept in mirror mode xD

Blast and bounce was once the hardest for me, but it gets easy if you know where to launch. This level on the other hand, is hard. Those goddamn electric bugs are the hardest on Mirror mode

This is tough but after a few months without playing this game, came back to it and (after quite a few attempts) managed to complete this on Mirror Mode. Just 3 more levels to complete on Mirror Mode now and it's 200% complete and finished! Completing everything on Super Mario Galaxy 2 (including the horrendous Grandmaster Galaxy -- The Perfect Run level) has definitely helped to increase my skills when it comes to gaming.

My opinion: (easiest to hardest) 8. Shifty Smashers (JOKE) 7. Treacherous Track (last part is somewhat hard) 6. Tumblin' Temple (combined 1-K and 6-K) 5. Perilous Passage (electric things should get close, then jump) 4. Jagged Jewels (timing's the thing) 3. Five Monkey Trial (80+ deaths in Mirror Mode X_X) 2. Blast & Bounce (I hate Tiki Zings) 1. Platform Panic (YES, I'M SERIOUS!)

Zhenghong Liu I think we all agree on the easiest, although those saying it's a 'joke' are being a bit too complacent. You still have to concentrate. I never managed to beat Jagged Jewels on Mirror Mode but the regular level for me is easier than Blast & Bounce. Once you get the hang of Tumblin' Temple it's not (too) bad but still nerve wrecking! I remember losing lots of lives on Perilous Passage and I agree on it being the hardest. There is absolutely zero margin for error and trying to pick up all the puzzle pieces just makes it worse. I definitely wouldn't have Platform Panic as second easiest. Depends on my mood but I can either do it in no time or use up loads of lives. Again one slight mistake and you're up shit creek haha. Treacherous Track cost me many lives too. Some of it's OK but towards the end it gets pretty grim for me. Five Monkey Trial is probably somewhere in the middle for me, about the same as Jagged Jewels and Treacherous Track (not mirror mode). The bit with the buzzing things got me a few times and the boulder things also were a pain without P. Diddy.

Not gonna lie but this temple is really hard. But if you try it with Diddy & with Banana juice, then you’ll be able to make it through. I beat this temple with The banana juice.

I know this level may be known as the hardest Kong Temple, but in my case, it really isn't. For starters, everything has a pattern, even the electric bugs can be cheesed, after you find the cheesy pattern of jumping. Then there's the fact that once you do notice the patterns, it becomes a lot easier to get farther into the level each time, making it so that if you collect all of the bananas throughout it, you can practically not die! this makes it so that you can keep retying over and over again without the stress of getting a game over with 99 balloons when entering. After following these rules, the level becomes a LOT more tolerable. It also helped me complete this level on time attack easier, Second try, Shiny gold!
