The bosses in this game do NOT clown around. They're very elaborate in their patterns at times and it's mostly their length and unpredictability that make these DK bosses tougher. I'm really glad the final boss of this game wasn't another "Head and Hands" fight. Great job on No Damage btw!

Boss 1: I always wondered how DK would do in a circus. Boss 2: Oh I get it, a parliament of owls. Boss 3: Ninja monkeys are one thing, but VIKING NINJA MONKEYS!? The world is doomed. Boss 4: It doesn't look so tou... OH MY GOSH! I didn't know blowfish could have fangs. Boss 5: I always thought that an arctic mammal would prefer something... spicier. I love the old DKC games and the guys from Retro Studios are making an awesome job bringing back the Country Series to the new consoles. Both Returns and Tropical Freze are incredible games, with very creative levels, gorgeous graphics and awesome soundtrack. I don't understand the hate it's getting. The studio that brought us the original trilogy are making Kinect Sports for the Xbox consoles, if you guys are missing them so much, I suggest you go play that crap :P

man....there's been a lot of weird antagonists in recent games for Kirby, it was a literal Queen Bee and her spider assistant for Mario, it was a cat Bowser for Sonic, it was 6 Rainbow Devils (and now a cyber snake) for Pokemon, it was Fashion Ginger Nazis and for Donkey Kong, it was Arctic Vikings with heavy metal themes

Nintendo has always had weird bosses. There's Dumb Drum, the animate poison keg boss from DK Country. Barinade and Bongo Bongo from Ocarina of Time. Odolwa and Majora's Mask from Majora's Mask. Bert the Bashful from Yoshi's Island. Marx and Dark Matter from Kirby. The list goes on and on. Nintendo has never had a game without its weird enemies in my book but then again that's what makes them so interesting.

my opinion on each boss. pompy: too easy even for my tastes but thats natural for first bosses, still somewhat fun though, and the music rocks. my fourth favorite boss in the game. skowl: by far the most epic boss in the game, theres just something so satisfying about hitting skowl with one of his troops while hes way up in the sky, his theme isnt the best but fits him well enough. my 3rd favorite boss in the game. ba-boom: most creative boss in the game and most diverse in terms of attacks and is just really fun to fight, and his theme is one of the best in the game just which is no suprise considering the bright savannah has the best tracks in the game. my second favorite boss. fugu: HOLY BUTT NUGGETS BATMAN THIS BOSS IS TRUCKING HORRIBLE! WHY DID THEY THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE THIS AN UNDERWATER BOSS FIGHT WHEN THE WATER CONTROLS ARE COMPLETE GARBAGE! EITHER YOU ARE GONNA DIE FOR BEING SLOW AS A SNAIL ON A TURTLE BECAUSE YOU NEEDED TO BE CAREFUL AROUND THOSE DARN KRABS OR YOUR GONNA DIE FOR TRYING TO GO FAST TO DODGE THIS PUFFERFISH FROM HECK! okay my opinion of the water controls and fugu have changed. i find them alot more tolerable now but him and the water levels are still eh to me. my opinion changed when i find out you were suppose to press the A button a few times and hold on to it at other times for actually decent control and speed, what did i do before that instead? i esentially used Y as A because i thought the only way to go faster was by constantly pressing Y when A did the job much better with it only being a slightly slower way of moving. yeah that was a big goof on my end but i dont entirely blame myself because they didnt really make it clear that A made you go faster but by the time i got to like world 4-3 i should have tried to see if there was a different of having decent control and speed, sorry about that dudes.

Boss 1: You can tell this game will have an awesome soundtrack just from hearing fucking rock music in a DKC game. Boss 2: Crush a banana in front of the Kongs' very eyes and you'll have yourself a massive ass kicking. Boss 3: Monkey Ninjas, how did nobody think of this original idea? Boss 4: Why is this even called Fugu? Unless that's a Japanese word for Puffer fish...I just don't know. Boss 5: Bashmaster is so lucky that he isn't eaten by those fish, he's also unlucky that he is now called a Purple Bear instead of a Polar Bear Boss 6: Either Frederick knows a guy who can make unmeltable ice or Donkey Kong Island is the only island that has ice immune to lava's heat. If only Frederick could do the same with his ice powers.

Son Taburetski What I did to beat Fred is that I had 3 golden hearts, 3 invincibility potions and Dixie Kong. Just watch out for the lava. It costed me about 35 lives.

Lord Frederick uses quite a few King K Rool moves in his fight (the charge across the arena move and bounce high while you run under him are both stuff K Rool did in the first game).

At least the Final Boss in this game isn't Andross, like in the last one. Andross shows up in far too many games. I believe he was in Zelda: Minish Cap, and I know he was in Wind Waker. I know there's other games I'm forgetting, besides Star Fox games.
