Donkey Kong Jnr. - cancelled conversion on the BBC Micro

Donkey Kong Jnr. almost saw an impressive #BBCMicro release thanks to author of Killer Gorilla, Adrian Stephens. Sadly, when Atarisoft collapsed, the game was canned - but thankfully a final version managed to sneak out into the wild, so you can play it!

Looks as great as Killer Gorilla was - reckon he should have rejigged a few details and sold it to Micro Power or another of the Beeb 'clone' publishers.

This was released by Superior Software at the end of 1984, I bought this.

Do you mean the unofficial clone Zany Kong Junior? bbcmicro.co.uk/game.php?id=126 ... This official conversion we've featured here was never released.

@@GamesThatWerent mmm. It was my understanding that Superior Software picked up the Atari soft conversions that were not published. Unless they are not the same at all, and I got it wrong.
