I am currently fighting cancer; the third time in four years. However, the Lord has used this time to assure me of his lavish love and mercy. I have no fear and I have been able to use my testimony to encourage hospital staff and fellow patients alike. I usually open by saying, I am a man of faith and, live or die I am in the hands of God. Although many cannot get their heads around this concept they compliment me on my positive attitude and strength in my time of trouble. Without my Saviour Jesus, the goodness of God, and the indwelling Holy Spirit I would be utterly helpless. This song has been a great comfort to me in these days, helping me to stay focussed on His goodness despite my situation.

In May 2022 I was diagnosed with 3rd stage colon cancer. In June I commenced a 12-cycle chemotherapy regime. 3 weeks ago I underwent a colonoscopy and later I was informed by the attending doctor that my colon looks clean. Praise God healing me of a near-fatal ulcerative colitis flare-up! I was in the hospital last November-December for 23 days and I listened to this video almost single night after my husband's reading of Psalm 91. I was fighting for my life and this song gave me comfort and strength to keep on fighting. I also declared Psalm 118:17 daily, I will not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord! The doctors sent me home to die but because of the Lord's mercies, He took away my colitis symptoms after I stopped taking my meds which were just making me feel worse. My good friend's ovarian cancer came back and it has spread to her lungs, making it stage 4 cancer in January.. But God lead her to an oncologist who is also a Christian and he gives low dose chemo once a week for the last 3 months. Her cancer marker have gone down to zero 5 days ago. Praise God! She had a Vit C IV before each chemo which helped minimized the side effects. She also started taking apricot bitter seeds 3 months ago which helped a lot in getting down the cancer marker points to zero. She's just waiting for her pet scan result and if it's good then she can stop the chemo. She just went back to work this week. She went to Lifespring Cancer Treatment Center (Dr Chue) in Seattle for chemo. Even if you live outside Washington state, please give them a call. They might be able to recommend a good cancer center near you. Take care Liv! Just keep declaring Psalm 118:17 daily and By His stripes, you are healed!!
