Sad to hear yesterday of Donna Summer's death. It was her voice and Georgio Moroder's music on "I Feel Love" that got me into electronic music in 1977. I'll always remember where I first heard that song. It was playing on the radio when I was sitting in the kitchen of a friend's house whilst his mum cut my hair! I couldn't believe what I was hearing and had never heard anything like it before. From that moment my life changed forever. RIP Donna

Indeed it is! Kinda weird 2 hear the beginnings of techno in a song from 1977. But this song has sounds that r later heard in techno, industrial dance, EBM, acid house, and new beat. From hard electronic beats, funky danceable beats, reverberation & echo effects, distorted electronic elements, layered sounds & rolling bass beats, this song is a precursor of the electronic dance music to come.
