If an acapella version of the vocal can be found, it would be good to overlay the two together.

Oh my lord- I'm blown away, the mother of dance music, and you have so carefully re-crafted it in spectacular fashion. It sounds almost identical to original! There are nuances that moroder had in that sequence that usually people are dumbfounded by , and you found them, the small perc hits..stabs, wierd synth basses..in the right place..cannot praise you enough, your attention to detail is class. Some ppl don't like a 'clone' cover. I Do..because I know the effort you've gone to for respect of the original artists on all your covers. Just still blown away by that Mick.

Receiving all these compliments and being able to speak with a great music expert like you (who listens to the most hidden details) is truly an IMMENSE pleasure. Often, my hard work in recreating these details is not even felt. Only a few people like you who have an excellent ear repay me for all this. It is true, many people do not appreciate this way of making covers, but I like to recreate all the details that I can hear to get as close as possible to the sounds of the original one!! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR WONDERFUL COMMENTS, MICK!!! You don't know how happy you made me :) :) :)

To think that Giorgio Moroder discovered this music by accident (I mean the delay) was miraculous back in 1977, so ahead of it's time. It is, to this day, my favourite Synth sound. And you have reproduced it so very well, hats off!
@KOSmusicovers4 жыл бұрын
It's true!!! He created a masterpiece that was truly futuristic for those years and still remains unchanged today!!! What a genius!!! In fact, the characteristic of this song is the bass with its particular delay effects. It was not easy to get closer to the original effect and rhythm, moreover, I dedicated a lot of energy to create the stereo effects!! You don't know how happy I am to read your compliments... Quite a difficult trek to replicate but done with accuracy. Donna summer was exceptional & best performer in synth pop genre and deeply missed.

a little late to the game here, but like you, i *love* my Yamaha CS1x. it's the only control surface i use in my little bedroom studio. while the sounds are authentic and super fun, it also works *really* well to control my other synths both hardware and software. likely, they'll bury me with the darn thing. in hands such as yours, the CS1x really shines. thank you for your hard work- your channel is incredibly informative; but i need to disclose that for the most part, i'm here for the fun and dancing.

IT'S FANTASTIC, MY FRIEND!!!!! I am always happy to meet other CS1x fans and owners!!! Absolutely yes!!! It has very powerful and rich sounds. It is also very versatile and with a little work on its controls, you can modify the presets to get what you want. In recent years, I have learned to understand it and take advantage of its qualities even for 80s music (I used one of its presets for the main percussive sound of my new Fletch cover)!! Those who think that it is worthless... are wrong and probably have not learned to use it seriously! In the future, I will make videos entirely dedicated to CS1x for fans of this WONDERFUL synth!! You're right, it's very convenient to control other synths... in fact to recreate covers close enough to the originals, I have to use some VST. It fills me with happiness, knowing you appreciate my passion and that you have fun with my videos!! THANK YOU OF HEART FOR YOUR AMAZING COMMENT, MATE!!!! :) :) :)

Fantastic cover, as good as the original! I love that era of music. My dad was a cop in Minnesota and one day the police dispatcher said to him she was recording a song but probably not his kind of music. That song was"Funkytown" by Lipps, inc. I would love to hear your version of it, Thanks again.

OH YEAH!!! I too, I have always loved the 70s/80s... an era in which they knew how to make great music!!!! WOOWWWW, INCREDIBLE!!!!!! "Funkytown" has always been one of my favorite songs and in the future, I will definitely try to recreate it!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MATE, FOR YOUR TRUST :) :) :)

I'm amazed you played that without an arpeggiator thats some real skill :) I wonder if Giorgio played it by hand!
@KOSmusicovers4 жыл бұрын
Actually, it's very easy. Just set the repetition of the note slightly later... in this way you press the key once and the synth repeats the same note a few thousandths later. To make this fantastic bass line, Giorgio Moroder will surely have used the Moog's arpeggiator!! :) :) :)
