Another gorgeous tutorial. Very luxurious at the moment, Monday morning in bed with some nice breakfast and coffee, getting motivated , preparing for for a very hot summer day in Australia.

so enjoy your tutorials. been admiring your art for many years. I am curious, have you ever seen the art of Dean McRaine? He’s a ceramic artist, diffiniately inspired by polymer clay artists techniques. Love to hear what you think of his ceramic work. Thanks again for your work, and inspiration!

Hi Nancy! I went and saw his work after you mentioned him - wow, he’s making some huge canes and in a material less forgiving than clay. Very impressive work! Thank you for telling me!

Such a wonderful tutorial, Donna! Thank you for taking a suggestion and sharing the process, these stacked rings are awesome. Love how you talk about considerations to take into mind for sizing and comfort. These turned out fabulous, I really love the simplicity but also the infinite variability to turn them into little wearable art pieces. 💚

Mrs Donna, I just love your sense of humor. And actually, I never paid attention to that particular fat part of my finger, until you mentioned it 😂 and you are so right. By the way, beautiful rings. Please, I tried to look for Kato conditioning bar in Europe but without success. I live at Cyprus. Any idea? Thanks a lot. 🥰

Hi Annita! I know, who thinks about the fat pad? LOL/ Oh, boy, I don't know where to get the conditioning bar in Europe...Perles and CO in France? Maybe Penny in Wales? I wish I did know! I will ask. Hugs, D

How do you know when to go from one grit to the next grit when you are sanding?
@DonnaKatoArt17 күн бұрын
i do it by feel. in the coarser grits, you can feel when a grit has smoothed a surface. what i look for is smoothness, no irregularity. then i move to the next and the next! cheers, d
