Fabricating electrically controlled snowplow from scratch for my homemade 4x4 utility terrain vehicle/UTV/ATV (build link below). I'm using pieces of scrap steel I purchased from a local steel shop thus the blade being rolled from six individual pieces that (conveniently) fit into my homemade sheet metal roller. The strengthening strips are cut on the homemade CNC plasma table (link below). To control the blade side-to-side movement I'm installing a 12v ATV/UTV winch. I built the plow frame and the blade in the previous video: • UTV Snow Plow BUILD - ...
Stay tuned for future videos! Thanks for watching!

Mayby add plastic rod on the corners of that plow so you see them more easily so you dont have to lift your head when plowing and allso ad pieces of reflective tape to the rods just like 20 or 30 cm tall rods

You did a magnificent job on the shoes; I haven't seen snowplows with better! Usually, the shoes are little circular pucks that get stuck in gravel, and they're just a pain in the butt. I'm definitely going to steal this whole design and build the face of the plow out of plastic, probably a big piece of a throw-away chemical tote, similar to the roof of your UTV. I love the winch to rotate the plow! Much simpler than hydraulics! I'm really impressed with your ability to look at what you want, and figure out a way to get that without a lot of drama.

If you install triangular plow, you do not need to have winch or hydraulics to rotate it. Only up & down, with a parallelogram, to keep it leveled.

We have right hand side traffic and left hand side steering here in Estonia. This UTV just came out this way (with right hand side steering) while putting together the powertrain. I use it only offroad here on my property for running errands (hauling stuff mainly) so the steering position is not relevant anyway.
