Some people see Donnell and Dave’s relationship as Batman and Robin… but Donnell is much more than a Robin… they literally feed off each other… Donnell knew the assignment… he made the most of an opportunity… he took those characters to new levels… his characters made Chappelle show that much better…iconic characters

Much better interview than the Breakfast Club. They play with him to much when he's trying to promote himself as being serious with his craft. Salute Big Boy

I remember that interview; you’re right. I felt for him at the time. Because you could feel that he wanted a real interview. The Breakfast Club talked and joked too much.
@RR-sp2op2 жыл бұрын
Darnell have as much fun with them, they actually hang out outside the show/interview. They know most maybe all the answers to the questions Big Boy is asking.they tell stories and promotes his stuff even when he’s not there being interviewed.
@jessannreece56722 жыл бұрын
I love Donell on the breakfast club but the vibe is definitely different. The gimmicks get old fast. Big Boy has a healthy balance of jokes and conducting a fascinating interview.

It’s eye opening and refreshing the difference he interviews with someone who takes him seriously and respects him versus The Breakfast Club. You can’t even see how he’s impacted comedy and how funny he really is with Envy and CTG cracking jokes and being immature. I like the Breakfast Club but he should never go on there again. This is his lane.

21:48 I hope Donell doesn’t really believe that. He knows how people in DC are. Crabs in the barrel. They mad because you are famous and they are not. And he’s definitely on my top 10 comedians and sketch, comedy artist. That means when Mr. Rawlings is in town, it becomes an event we go to see.

Thank you for speaking on it Darnell! People seem to have forgotten that we all have a breaking point and it was obvious to me that Will Smith had reached his that night. Years of frustration and mistreatment some directly because of stuff that Chris had said about him and Jada prior to the Oscar slap. I think Chris is one of the funniest people alive but he crossed a line that he shouldn't have, and once Jada rolled her eyes in disgust Will had no other choice but to handle the situation right then and there...

What's funny to me about these D.C. guys is how they don't speak about Martin Lawrence much. As if he is not from D.C. with all the groundbreaking work he done. He is a mega star and you don't really hear these dudes acknowledge him. It's as if he don't exist from that area.
