While I love roots music, I LOVE RAP MUSIC, While that is going on, I was aways a punk rock kid. So it is weird. My love of rap....actually hip hop and rockabilly, people do not know what to make of me. I feel like history, music history, and art history, even dance history, all go hand in hand. It is a reaction from the people. I love Memphis. I think Stax and Sun creating American Culture. Everyone was listening to the same damn thing. Grand ole Opry, Gospel and Blues. Also, shout out to WDIA, The first all black radio station, who is still in existence.. Thank you for your story telling of hip hop history and keep doing what you do. I enjoy your interviews .
