I met him once in a barbershop. He was just as funny in person as on TV. He wasn’t acting…what you saw on TV was the real guy. I didn’t even know who it was that came in and dapped everybody sitting and waiting for a haircut. He treated us all like he knew us….there was no Hollywood attitude going on. I never got to meet Charlie, but I worked at a summer camp where his son went. His son (Xavier) was the only kid that we let sit with us dumb camp counselors during meals. I've watched this more times than I will ever admit and it will never get old to me. Hearing how hard Charlie worked being Eddie's brother and how hard he worked to be Charlie Murphy...the way we know him.
