Just buy a Yamaha, they’re much better although a tad bit more expensive

Thanks for the review. Looking for an inexpensive guitar for my daughter for school next fall and this looks perfect. Disagree on the 'string upgrade' because in 40+ years of playing I've found most strings are the same - find your gauge and you're golden. Again thanks for this.

Great review! I bought this guitar after watching this video. Donner also threw in a free violin, which I sold for $50. I got a matte black one. Absolutely no regrets. Changing the strings makes an improvement to the sound though.

That guitar is perfect and those stock 12 strings are amazing sound. Very well balanced all around! Unfortunately Donner stop making those and the 11s sound similar but not as balanced or rich as those 12s.

Nevermind electronics dude, some Martin/Taylors come standard with tuners that cost more then this guitar lol I gave this guit to much praise my self at first. You dont even realize how bad it sounds especially if you haven't sat down and played a Martin/Taylor or an Alvarez in a while (Now that's a guitar thats worth way more then its $900 price tag) Once you do, realize it sounds sooooooo terrible lol I bought one as beater. I have one of these Donners, as a beater. I actually bought one... Idk why everyone's hipping these guitars up. They're garbage. I dont even think they are "Good considering what they cost" All the tuners are crap, I can barely play it, its out tune fairly quick, bend a note and its out. Intonation is brutal, on mine anyways... For an xtra $100ish or even less if you find one used, you can buy a Yamaha FG/FGX series acoustic that's out of this world compared to these Donners.

Hi, The amount you need to file depends on the action of the strings. You don't want to go too far or you will have buzzing. If this is your first time trying this the I would suggest taking it to a guitar tech as it can be tricky.

Of course. its just a minor adjustment of the string on the bridge saddle. Just move it over a little and its fine.

Don’t buy this guitar! is not a solid top. As you can hear the difference has a whamming sound.
