I got the Donner interface a week ago, windows 10 pro user here, has a dedicated asio driver, using guitar amp sims on Gig Performer like Nalex, Lepou and Vadim Taranov + impulse Reponses; also Neural DSP Gojira, ML Sound Amp Stevie, Overloud TH-U, Bias FX 2 elite in standalone, and it sound very good. Also using it on Reaper with plugins, etc, no problem at all. The monitor outputs from interface to a power amp + speakers sounds very good, clear sound + highgain amp sims sounds massive, and the headphones output also sound very good, loud and clear no need to crank up de gain knob to much. So if your starting on audio interfaces, Donner is a good choice!!! I was going to get the Behringer UMC202HD or Focusrite Scarlet 2i2, but just got a donner deal email, and saw this interface, so I said why not??? cheap price, very solid built into metal chasis, knobs feel solid, so go for it, I think is no better in this price range. Ordered today, want to try it out with guitar rig 6, though don't care about the mic input. This is a stereo app just like overloud, so I need 2 mini amps. Though just playing for fun not interested in recording.

My $12 Pyle fake-57s had mic to 1/4" male jacks supplied in the box, and using mics that way works out fine.

This is actually pretty sick! I was considering picking up that Donner bass as it looks like a solid P Bass clone. This may be another thing to consider. Although that price is pretty close to the Focusrite so maybe I’ll save up for that. Either way love their pedals and glad they’re trying other stuff!

It's definitely as good as any of the others out there, plus they always have coupons on site where I'm sure it'll be even cheaper. The bass is above average. I absolutely love it. I put some flatwounds on there and a sponge under the bridge, lowered the action a tad, it's just killer.

I've used Focusrite stuff for years and this feels as good as any of those. Having a look through the website they have studio monitors. I'd be interested in seeing those as my old Alesis ones are a bit rubbish. Liked the tune too. Thanks.

Hi, very nice review man, I have a question! Is M-track solo better than the new Donner Livejack lite audio interface in your opinion?

Though I haven't personally used the M-Track, I see a couple differences. 1, the M-track has RCA outputs, where the Donner has balanced 1/4" and is a bit more professional in that regard. Also the Sample Rates the Donner wins by a lot being able to support 192,000hz, where the maximum sample rate on the M-Track is 48,000hz. But at $50 it's still a great deal for sure. I can't testify how good Latency performance is on the M-Audio since I haven't used it, but on the Donner it's great. The donner is on sale for Prime Day now for $95 amzn.to/3gXLBC3

@@demonicsweatersthank you!! Yes I’m considering the Donner interface because here in Italy it’s at the price of 72€ (prime day offer, his original price was 98€), the M-track solo is at 45€; so I don’t know what to do :), the difference is only of 27 euros

Just got this in the mail and I'm having a strange problem with it. At first, I plugged it in and the mic input didn't work. Next, the the sound output didn't work and now it keeps switching.

No, I pretty much stopped using linux, so I haven’t tried it.
