Donnie Simpson is a true Detroit success story. In high school they searched all the high schools for soul tern reporter to be a DJ on the radio. Thousands of young People applied and Donnie got the job. He was so popular on the radio that he was selected to host video soul on bet in the beginning of the network. He later became part of management at bet. Good success story for former Detroiter. When he was on the Air he reported stories about Detroit youth issues good and bad. Before he graduated high school bet recruited donnie.
