I've seen the whole interview long time ago. Donnie was being a professional throughout the interview but it was obvious in his voice he didn't want to be there. This was around the time (2000's) he wanted to break into Hollywood but Hollywood back then wanted the JACKIE CHAN STYLE (action COMEDY), Donnie was more of an action DRAMA actor. He worked in Blade 2, they gave him a cameo with no dialogue. He was in that shitty highlander movie. All the action choreography he had to SLOW DOWN HIS MOVEMENT because the lead actor sucks. In the mid 1990's, he starred in a martial arts chinese TV series Fist of Fury and other movie projects like Legend of the wolf and Wing Chun. And in America Hollywood, they just wanted Donnie to POSE, just do poses. HOLLYWOOD didn't understand "martial arts" movies. After that, he went back to China to work in action movies he wanted to make, HERO and SPL (killzone). Donnie came back to Hollywood to work with Jackie Chan in Shanghai knights. In that movie, Donnie and Jackie had really great chemistry pro martial arts "actors." They worked the Chinese martial arts movie making style.
