My son married into an old NC Appalachia family and I had a dear friend from TN who when he knocked a few back he spoke to his dog in another language. I live in the PNW so I love visiting them. Yeah, orbs I reckon. About when cell phones got some reasonable cameras, maybe 10 years ago, a friend and I got some pics of what we reckon were orbs in a disused rail tunnel in Australia. “Experts” told us they were just dust particles but it sure felt spooky!

Back in the late 70s when I was a teenager, mom had taken a picture of me. When she got the developed film back, the picture of me was my upper arms and shoulders with my head. The picture looked like I was coming out of the ground or being sucked into the ground. Either way she was freaked out. Any ideas?

I’ve seen a glowing beach ball sized orb deep in the woods once. No idea what it was but it was clear as day.

Yes that ball of fluff was moving like a small animal would move, but it wasn't any kind of animal we know. Just a ball of fluff or dust that moves. Very strange.

Those larger orbs are spiders. I have a camera outside my home and I've captured those. On the last orb viewing, you can see the webs at times. The spiders on my camera would set off the motion detectors. If they were too close to the lens they would appear very blurry, like your orbs. As they would move away, they would come into focus more. Thank you for sharing all your videos. They are very interesting.

Yes, we get the same thing. Also, bits of small debris drifting on a strand of cobweb anchored to the camera does it.

That's a lot of cool stuff in the video! I get a completely different feeling watching the orbs than I do when I watch that creeping thing. What's interesting to me is that both "lights" seem to be moving with intent, like they have some kind of awareness. Maybe there are energy forms that can pass through. Very mysterious world🙏🐝🌻✨

@2:26 after zooming in, you can see there's a square section coming from the tree across the screen to the tree on the right of screen, that looks like it's an open portal.... But besides the dark entitie at the trees to the left, there's an alien shaped figure to the right of screen next to the tree, the heads shape, hands and feet are visible along with it's facial features, but you have to zoom in to see if.... Might be seen clearer if negative, or invert was used? But i can see it's eyes nose and mouth. Great catch! The orbs are explained as invisible entities, it's a surreal world explains them with video proof.

I see you caught more orbs at the pond Donnie! How cool is that! I still believe those all move like humans do. (and I still say that that shaking orb looks like a fight!) If memory serves me, there's been both Native and white settlements near this pond, so it is possible that you've caught different folks at different times in their lives. They don't move like any insect or dust that I've ever seen. What surprised me was the big orb on a different camera! A group of folks? A large animal spirit? It's hard to see in the dark but if the land is relatively flat there that coukd be an old trail or road. Does make you wonder. Our parents and grandparents used to tell us ghost stories to keep us in our beds at night. Now we know why!

The Bible was written by men, men with political motives. I've read most of the versions available so I can get as close to His truth as possible. One thing I do know: they don't call them The Holy Ghosts for nothing! As I had my life saved by a ghost when I was eight, I believe that God sent her. She saved me from dying the way she did and I am eternally grateful. It taught me two lessons: one, you're a child, do not be too stupid! If they tell you it isn't safe, it's not! I occasionally get "orbs" on my trail cams like the one you showed. Im in the flightpath between Apache helicopter training grounds. I've been told that these "orbs' are the Weapons operators picking up the IR radiation of the trailcams and subsequently being pinged with a targeting laser by the WO in the choppers. They just use the trailcams as a ready-made targeting practice.

I just found your channel and immediately subscribed. I too love old cemeteries and the stories they tell. I've been investigating cemeteries for evidence of the paranormal for almost 20 year's now. Based on the experiences I've had I believe without a doudt that spirit's do exist and if you want to have your own personal experience that's the place to do it. Hi Donnie, I love you channel. My Granny, has been dead for over 50 years. She was an amazing pioneer woman and used to tell me stories about, what she called, "Fox Fire". She said it was an orb, of light, that floated about, above the ground. Those Orbs, in your videos, looks like what she would describe to me. Keep up the good work/posting. I love it!

Great video I saw with my own eyes in the white mountain NH area, woods, a red ball thing size of a golf ball moving in straight line then disappeared in front of my eyes at 4 am. Your orbs reminded me of that. The white mountains have some weird feelings and occurrences as well

Some areas have a lot of orb activity. We used to get a lot of weird things on trail cameras. After awhile, I decided to quit using them. It seemed like something didn't want them there. I got a new one burnt out internally. It was still under warranty but had worked great in the field but not when i switched it over to the spooky woods area.. I kinda decided maybe I just don't wanna know what's causing it. 😅

Good morning Donnie Laws! I agree with another commenter who said “the unexplained is like the icing on a cake!” It looks to me like you’ve caught some will-o-the-wisp. That’s so awesome. The first orb appeared to be going behind the weeds, on my screen I could see a brighter vertical line in the orb when behind the stick. Something kind of sensational about the wispy bird, and the really slow orb. Lots of energy in the air.

That's the only time you can go Coon Hunting is after Dark.. I've been in some of the most darkest woods before that if my Hunting Light had went out for some reason I would have just had to set down until daylight

Love the video Donnie. At 7:45 in the video, I'm quite sure that is a dragonfly. They love wetlands and while most don't fly at night, it would if it's resting area was disturbed by a passing critter. Dragonflies are also attracted to any kind of light source.

Hi Mr. Donnie, on a few of your previous videos, I've seen you checking on your cameras. I KNOW what you mean by some of them being in VERY out of reach places! Your strange orb videos are fascinating, but those bear sightings are truly hair raising! The atmosphere of your videos really reminds me of all the primitive camping trips we were packed up & taken out on, as kids... (no bear sightings though...!). My son served in the Knoxville TN mission and was living in Maryville TN. For a meeting they had to go to Asheville so his mission companion and my son headed out on highway 441over the Smokey mountains to get there. This was in late January and it was cold out! They were traveling at night and once they made it up to the top of those mountains it started to snow. As they were passing the Ben Morton Overlook a very large hairy man ran in front of them from one side of the road to the other and then down over the embankment. Both of them saw it in the headlights. They looked at each other and did not say anything. On the way back from Asheville they stopped at Ben Morton to see if there were any footprints in the snow. There was only one and it was 16 inches long! The rest of the prints had melted or ruined by passing cars. Do you have any stories like this?

I love your pictures of the wildlife. Yes my friend those are orbs you captured on your camera. Dust doesn’t stay stationary in mid air. I have orbs in my house. Hello Donnie, this is Mickey Lee Bluebird. I haven't been here for a while but you know I've always loved your channel. I've been thinking about going to my neck of the woods & beyond to film the foothills of the Appalachias. Think I've got me a new name. I love how you do your weekly video "How the Ridge Turns". Well, I live on Whippoorwill Holler. I might call it "As the Holler Turns". Ha., I thought you'd like that. What's ironic is I do live on a road that has Ridge in the name but the acreage where I live has always been "Whippoorwill Holler". Yes, we do have Whippoorwills. I've been thinking that this Ridge & Holler has always been a breeding ground for a long, long time. Anyhow, just wanted to say hello. Donnie, I just found your channel and I clicked onto this video hoping to see some cool wildlife. You not only delivered that, Sir, but a lot of thought-provoking shots as well. I get frustrated with people who look at something in a photo that looks strange - and often fuzzy or blurry - and make a snap judgement yea or nay. You have admitted that while these things look strange, you just aren’t sure what they are and that makes you my kind of people! I couldn’t click “subscribe” fast enough once I realized that you are as curious as I am and as thoughtful as I strive to be all the time (I’ve made it to about 95% over my 59 years!)

Thankful you catch mysterious things also. My family has many women who aresensitive, myself included.
