Today I was feeling kind of depressed, while driving the car, when all of the sudden I start hearing a familiar voice in my favourite radio station in Portugal... I couldn't believe it! Just to be sure, I pressed the button on the radio to give me the information about the music that was playing (which I hadn't heard before from you), and guess what? Donny Freaking Benét... Guess what, that depressed state suddenly disappeared, while I was shouting "Hell yeah it's freaking Donny Benet in my radio station"... I've been listening to this track for 5 years and it obsesses me. Nostalgia for the 80s can be a little painful, but with you, it's quite the opposite. this man is a genius - you have to seem him live. I was lucky enough to see him in Melbourne on the weekend. Virtuoso band backing his sublime Bass playing was a treat to behold. To be easily as handy on Bass as Bernard Edwards while singing completely blew me away. I'm new to his stuff and didn't really know what to expect with the show (perhaps him singing with a tape deck was one possibility I thought) but then to see that was incredible.
