@@clarkharrell2227 Hand positions are similar when compared, it seems like Donny embellishes it a bit. My ears are directed to the more bassy sound in the Jaco video, and it is hard for me to focus on the tones when I hear Donny's sound which has a stronger attack. Of course, he is showcasing the bass, while the Jaco video was a live performance, so perhaps what I am hearing is Jaco "toning it down" meaning he isn't playing the bass part as the only instrument but rather in conjunction with the other instruments.
