After many years, I've finally learned and become comfortable with standing up for myself when bullies do their thing. This was a rough past week for many LGBTQ+ people in the Godzilla fandom and I had to do a lot of fighting with people. yep, well said. i know standing up for yourself is hard sometimes from the backlash you get, but sometimes you have to because no one else will and things are never going to get better if we let this kind of discrimination and bigotry slide.

Preach! I’m waiting for my thick skin. It seems to grow, peel off and grow again in a frustrating cycle. You are showing people that they are seen and they are valuable and that is what makes you special and spectacular.
