I've listened to audio from various artists recorded in Pakistan over the years. I'm inclined to believe that this particular rendering of Ustad Ali Raza Khan may be the best that I've heard coming out of Pakistan.

An amazing performance by the maestro of ghazal gayaki in Pakistan. It is always a delight to listen to Ustad Ali Raza Khan's magical and soulful voice. Rendering Faiz Ahmad Faiz Kalam so beautifully and flawlessly is a magic that only Ustad Ali Raza Khan possess. God Bless🙏

Ghazal gayaki in Pakistan is a dying art. I could not agree more with your sentiments. Ustad Ali Raza Khan has with disarming modesty accrued the skills and discipline necessary to deliver this nuanced art form that we call ghazal. Our time with him was enjoyable and so worthwhile.

I believe this is composed in Raag Darbari.

I think it is pretty close to Bhimpalasi raag. Definitely not Darbari because the composition does not use Dha Komal.
