Uff can't handle any more . FIRST OF ALL HE IS HIDDEN GEM. With out tabla and dholk he can continue like this and I am gone listen till infinity. Secondly all muscians are masters specialy dholak and harmoniam and tabla GOD MUST HAVE ONCE COME HERE AND GaVE HIS "Haajri" means presence. ..no comparison..... wah I loved it.............. and will love it for all years to come..... sufi music is the simplest and the most roughest way to touch God......... .

I came upon The Dream Journey looking for more of Ustad Fareed Ayaz and everyday now, I somehow stumble upon compositions by artists that just fulfills the day. Qurban Niazi Sahab’s unique style made this so much wonderful. The beginning mixed with the joyous outburst when the thaiya thaiya starts had my feet literally tapping to dance! I’m not sure if this is Dhamaal but it somehow had the same effect. And yet somehow even in such a celebratory song, somehow the lyrics still brought tears to the eyes. Subhanallah ❤️

With due respect, this qalam lends itself very well to dance. Let us not overlook that Kathak is first of all a dance of a Story-Teller. Hence the dictum: "Katha Kahe So Kathak!". There is a story here too. Then, Kathak strongly embodies the spirit of the Sufis within itself. For example, when the Kathak dancer glides across the floor while revolving in "chakris"; that is reminiscent of the dancing Dervishes. Where did those Dervishes come out of? Then the Kathak dancer does that movement with one arm outstretched vertically and the other outstretched horizontally. The vertical arm signifies the direction and the location of the Almighty in the firmament. While the horizontally outstretched arm shows the direction and location of insignificant Man. That is an unmistakably Sufi motif.
