Here's an idea for you. Install a second electric switch in a easy to find location. This is a fake kill switch that's hooked up to latching relay sirens inside and outside the car. When the criminal attempts to find the kill switch, it's likely that they will activate the sirens. Power the sirens with an independent battery, so that disconnecting the car battery won't silence the sirens. Setup the sirens to disarm with a key switch. The very loud sirens will punish the criminal and draw attention to the car. The criminal is going to run away very quickly after they activated the sirens! Make sure that you or your passengers never flip the fake kill switch!

Search KZbin for IGLA PIN code and CompuStsr Drone alarm. Those are the best way to prevent auto theft. The IGLA PIN code system requires you to press a combination of buttons on your steering wheel and other interior buttons in the correct sequence in order for your vehicle to start. It’s like a combination lock to start the vehicle. Multiple layers of protection are best. So, the CompuStar Drone alarm system alerts your cellphone if a break in attempt is occurring. You can then call the police or respond to the situation. When the alarm starts making noise, the criminal draws attention to themselves. They don’t know if the police are responding or an armed vehicle owner is responding. Then that vehicle becomes less of a desirable target for the criminal because the criminal could be arrested by the police or killed by the vehicle owner. The manufacturer of the IGLA PIN code system says that it’s installed on 600,000 vehicles, and none of them have been stolen. The downside is the cost. It’s $1,400 for the IGLA PIN code installed, and about $600 more for the CompuStar Drone alarm system, plus about $200 a year for a subscription for the alarm system to be able to communicate with your cellphone. There’s additional layers of protection you could add. Like a neutral.pull cord blocking plate for some vehicles, so the criminal is blocked or slowed down from putting the vehicle into neutral and pushing the vehicle with a second vehicle. You could have a GPS tracker installed and backup Tile or AirTag trackers installed. You could have very loud sirens installed inside the vehicle to make the alarm sound volume painfully loud for the criminal. Kill switches are an option, but depending on the criminal’s skill level, the kill switches can be defeated. Factory vehicle alarm systems are generally worthless against the criminals. So, there are effective ways to prevent the vehicle from being stolen, but they are expensive. If the vehicle is towed or hauled away on a flatbed truck then the alarm system and added hidden GPS tracking could help locate the vehicle as it’s being stolen. Just search KZbin for the IGLA PIN code and CompuStar Drone alarm system. You’ll find a lot of videos that explain how the combination protect your vehicle from theft. There are also videos about the hidden GPS trackers.

Said this on another video but I had 3 three-way switches on my SRT 392 Durango and it would blow the starter fuse if you tried to start when all 3 weren't on correctly. I'm lazy and I only ever changed one of them before I drove it each time. Well someone tried to steal it at my shop and after they spent about 30 minutes inside trying to get it to work, based on my shops camera videos, they left without the car. I came back to find that they cut every single one of my seats up, the doors, the carpet, my headliner, my touch screen, the instrument panel screen was cracked, they cut the carpet, and the wires under the dash to hell and back. And if that wasn't enough, they pissed all over inside the car too.

this one does not disable the remote start but when you get in the car you still will not be able to put the vehicle into run mode in order to shift etc

ok. and that's why we didn't show where it's mounted etc. No matter what even if you know where it is connected (which is obvious on any kill switch) they can't just rip it out. It's sealed in a container that they would have to break open and then re connect the wiring etc. There isn't a system in the world that will make it unable to be stolen. it's all about time. 99.9% of theives want the easy job and the simple resistance if a kill switch and trying to find it will make them move on. We have already had this exact system stop 3 cars from being stolen that have been reported by customers. Not to mention nowhere in the video was it shown where the box is hidden, where the switches are mounted, etc.

Yep so stupid that we didn't even show the location it's installed in.... Each car is different as the switches are mounted differently and the box is mounted in a different spot.

Good video. I've seen some of the remote ones that are sold at Amazon. My only thing with them is that they are all the same frequency. All it would take is the thieves to buy the same kit and be able to open the circuit to the button. This looks like a good product. I did see that it came with 2 buttons can you explain how that would work? Would both need to use every time? Can you leave one open and just mainly use one, then say if you plan on being away from the car longer you can hit both? Is there a promo discount if we mention your channel?

We have used the Amazon ones also and we agree that this was a flaw in the design. This is way more complicated than it needs to be and it adds the possibility of failure. If that unit fails you'll be stranded. The simple solution is to cut the power to the PCM then add a switch that you'll hide.

It's not complicated at all. It's plug n play and is meant for when the car is parked. Cutting the power to the pcm and adding a switch would be more complicated and would be less user friendly / DIY. It's two simple switches that are on off switches. no software. this is just as possible to go out as the ignition or anything else
