I’ve found so much value, usability, style, and joy in Kizer knives for so long now. The Kizer Varatas being my most recent acquisition, that’s what I gave myself for Christmas, and it hasn’t left my pocket since. I’m completely satisfied with it as my primary EDC, and I haven’t had the slightest urge to replace it, yet. The fact that it’s full titanium, and practically the same size and almost the same weight as a Bugout, but even better blade steel, yeah, it’s like the perfect knife for me.

Yeah the Varatas is an absolute home run all the way around

Re: Kizer Beyond - Two years ago, I bought a near identical knife off Aliexpress. It is branded TwoSun and has a drop point blade and a flipper switch in D2 steel for $69. The action is superb, and the distinctive body is 95% identical.

Kizer is still knocking out some bangers what is going on with the drop bear is a total head scratcher unless it was just a little bit of a rush them out number. Have a beautiful day J&K stay safe and healthy both🫵🏻😘👍🏼

Iove Kizer knives. The commonly seem to use spacers along the back and most importantly rounded, contoured scale designs. Both features can dramatically improve the ergonomics and comfort of using the knife for harder work. At this point I will never buy a other flat-sided knife or one the is to thin to to cut with any force ergonomically. A larger school is a must. I really have your channel. You seem burned to do this kind of work.

I have contacted Kizer on 2 occasions with suggestions on knife configurations. The first was for an Original XL (they came out with one shortly after) and just a while ago I emailed them asking for a Drop Bear with this "Nebula" Fat Carbon (Like the one offered on the Cormorant) with something other than Elmax... I am totally taking credit for this one too. My idea. You're welcome. S45Vn is freaking awesome too.

If you have any pull with Kizer, ask them to do a titanium framelock Feist XL. It is my favorite knife of all time from them and a titanium version would be the ultimate to me.

Kizer been slacking off with their plunge grinds on these ones. Maybe they rushed production between Christmas and before the Chinese New Year that starts tomorrow (but I believe the factories have already been closed for a few days).

@Circa16647 ай бұрын
Maybe they know you'll love the knife and buy a replacement sooner than later with an abbreviated sharpening life. (Most ppl won't bother modding a sharpening choil/plunge grind). Then again, a lotta people don't use their knives enough to need more than a ceramic rod.
@boza56847 ай бұрын
One thing I would like to know before I die, make two... Why do all manufacturers put t6 and minimum sharpening coil on 99% of their knives and so the knife? Is it because of the price, design, cheaper production...? If we all talk about is it a flaw and they still do it, so it means that it is something very important to them.

The Beyond’s handle design looks amazingly similar to the Twosun TS-21. I don’t know if the design originated with Twosun or if they were both inspired by something else but it’s interesting. I love the look.

Still uncertain about s45vn. It doesn't feel like it has the toughness I look for in a knife, doing what I do to knives. It makes me nervous and feel like I have to baby it somewhat. It is leagues ahead of S30v and s35vn in terms of edge retention tho.

You do realize most of these companies are getting there materials from the usa, and there's in many cases a usa designee and the dealers that sell them are usa, the USA is make more than China, also 80% of all knives on the planet are made in one city in China, the other 20% are mixed throughout the rest of the world
