Not %100 on the company that makes the knife he designed but it’s apparently selling well. Been out & making a bunch of them for years now. Short & wide little knife. Cant think of the name of it right now to save my life. Front flipper i believe. L8r.

They have definitely grown. I called them on the phone to order a micro tech ultra tech, partial serrated in 2013 i think it was. The guy who answered the phone (think it was the dark hair guy,one who designed the small knife for civivi, can’t recall his name or the name,or the name of his mini knife design.Head honcho around there if im not mistaken.?.!)Point being, during the 5ish minutes we talked,he checked stock on his computer, got up and went where the knives were and opened the boxes of the last 3 they had in stock & tried the action of them and sent me the best of the 3. Must’ve been on speaker phone because I was hearing the door open and closing, background noise & the sound of him trying the knives. I appreciated the service and still have the knife. Glad to see that they have done so well & that you & your girl are doing well with the channel and your knives etc. Takem easy J.

Yeah that's an amazing value you won't get everywhere, it's those small to big things that stand out and in many cases are underappreciated

Marion Virginia is my old stomping grounds! While you are on interstate 81 if you blink your eyes between chilhowee and Marion. You will miss a little tiny town called 7 Mile Ford in between. I have family that live in Marion and if memory serves Marion is 66 miles outside of wytheville. Unless you took Lee highway all the way down. If you did you would have seen 7 Mile ford. I have no idea what it looks like now though I haven't been in that area in 30 some years.

CRKT, Gerber, and Kershaw were the knives I used during the last 25 years. Bought a newer Kershaw from Cabelas and then noticed a few weeks later the "China" stamp. Threw it in the garbage. Looked and the other 2 mentioned are made in "CHINA". Went back to my trusty Buck knife. Then my brother and I went on a knife buying spree. I bought 2 110 Hunters off craigslist for $40 in great condition, a 110Hunter lite, then a used103 and a new 105. I have recently bought a 110FG and bidding on a 112 FG Ranger on ebay. My brother bought a new 110FG and a 117. Has about 10 more Buck pocket knives.

Damn. Neeves reading those knives like an edge whisperer. Kinda crazy to be able to see all that. Like those trackers that can tell you what happened in an area by looking at the ground.

You know honestly... and it's just another reason I carry them... but I always think of a situation where maybe your driving somewhere you've never been or are in a car you've never driven... and somewhere along the way an attacker gets in the back of the vehicle and with a simple 24"inch piece of 550 paracord the damage he could inflict!!or try to... and honestly in that situation if you only had your pocket knives.. they would be useless..... that's why I always carry my Leatherman raptors close by...God forbid your ever in a situation similar.... having the right tools could be the difference between life and death!!!! Cuz a pocket knife would NEVER work to cut the 550 cord safely....I mean ya you could use it again him...or pull out your pew.. yes.... but I think realistically......having something like the raptors or resqume tool to quickly cut the paracord and then move on to disable the attacker
