I was able to pay off my 2019 infiniti qx50 in less than a year renting it on turo, I was bringing in minimum $350 on a slow week and $550 a week on average weeks, I'm so glad I found Turo.

With renting a fleet of cash cars on Turo and really understanding how hard depreciation hits, I can't ever see myself buying a new car no matter how much I can afford. The difference between driving a 2024 and a 2014 just isn't worth the price difference.

No lies here. You can still buy under MMR from auctions even for cars a couple years old but you have to understand the game

It can be challenging when scaling, but it all depends on how strict the job is. It’s makes it 100x easier if you could have someone to back you up on the customer service side. With the new cohost feature it does make it a lot easier. With that being said, most opportunities come with challenges.

How much in your opinion would be a minimum profit to look at this and see if it makes sense to keep or try to sell it?

@@StefanMarquardt Another question, not including a line of credit in this for short term obligations, but is $115 dollars is this hypothetical doable for unforeseeable events every month? I’ve heard Turos insurance can good and bad sometimes but I don’t know if the average person would be comfortable with that much net operating income on a monthly basis unless they are renting out more cars. I’m a Turo host renting out 4 cars. 3 cash cars and one car on a loan that’s used with 50k miles on it. This question comes from finding out if getting a new car would be worth it considering the depreciation, monthly cash flow, and liability.

@Ajmaldona $100 a month set aside for maintenance is a good idea. It’s never a good idea to buy new cars. I wouldn’t buy any tbh big newer than 3 years old because the market might still have some downwards pressure

I started with a business loan so I would suggest start with 1 car as a test run.
