This video was awesome Chris! Those BTS videos are fun to watch but your context and explanation really brought it to another level. Hope you'll do more of the films you've worked on!

@chrisherr I've been following your videos for a number of years now, and this might be one of my favorites. It's great seeing industry professionals breaking down their work like this, and I'd love to see more content like this in the future!!

@@chrisherr One thing that has really impressed me is how long that grip crew has been working together. I met Tana and James and Will back in 1997 on a small movie called The Minus Man, when I was like 22 years old. It's not often you see people work together like that for 25+ years.

Thank you so much for the great video! How is it to work with Matthew Libatique, what makes him special?

That’d be a whole video in itself. But in short he’s extremely professional and well prepared, he has a detailed mental model of what we’re trying to achieve and he knows why we’re trying to do it. He’s always one step ahead of everyone which definitely gets people to bring their A game.

Not sure if I missed you saying this, but in situations where you are gimbal operating with support, would Scott have been on the wheels?

Sometimes yes, it just depends. If it’s really low angle stuff then usually yes, but eye height normal work I generally do single op
