I’ve been seriously considering purchasing the "Cinematic Lighting Foundations Masterclass" 🎥, but before making the leap, I’d love some clarity on what the course includes. Specifically, does it focus on practical, on-set demonstrations-where you show how lighting is positioned and the exact equipment being used during filming? Or is it more of a talking-head explanation style? Personally, I find real behind-the-scenes, on-set footage much more engaging and valuable for learning, as it really helps me feel like I’m right there with you in the process. 🔦🎬 To be honest, I’m less interested in post-taping discussions or just theoretical explanations. I’m looking for content that dives straight into the practical execution-seeing how everything is set up, step by step, as it happens. If the course leans heavily towards practical demonstrations, I’m absolutely ready to pull the trigger! 💥 However, I noticed that there’s no clear information on the website about how the content is visually presented. While the mention of real case studies is great, it’s unclear whether the videos include behind-the-scenes footage, on-location demonstrations, or if they mostly focus on theory. Adding these details to the website would be such a huge plus in terms of clarity and would help potential buyers like me make a confident decision. 🙌 Thanks so much in advance for shedding light on this! Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Alex
@TenfoldProduction2 ай бұрын
Hey Alex! You got it bang on, module 1 and 2 are all live practical walk through. Module 1 we are in a studio walking through lights and foundations, In Module 2, we are on set focusing on different looks. Showing you where the lights go, Zach is walking you through all of his decisions and thoughts. All of the nuances of creating commercial, documentary interview, and narrative looks. I think you’re going to love this based on your criteria here, it’s literally all step by step execution. Also, we really appreciate your thoughts on getting more clarity on the website! Will definitely update that. Also tomorrow, you’ll get a taste of it (it’s an hour long location scouting video, where we walk through everything step by step! Hope to see you in the course!

@tenfoldproduction Amazing video with a lot of great insight! I am curious though, what was the budget for this SPEC shoot? Or, if you're working off of a lot of favors from people, what would be a budget est. for the camera/G&E to recreate what you're doing here? I think that kind of info would be super insightful in your videos moving forward, even if just generally touched on at the start, and would help give people a little more perspective on more of the "unspoken" elements that also go into creating this caliber of video imagery. Not too much detail that dips into the producing side of things, but just budget info as it relates to your work on set as a cinematographer. Thanks and keep up the incredible breakdowns!!
@TenfoldProduction8 ай бұрын
Hey Frozen Lake, Thanks for the question! Most of our specs can range anywhere from $5000-$20,000. This was closer to the higher end. We have a pretty high standard for ourselves and how we represent ourselves in the filmmaking world. We've also built up our projects to a certain level so that every spec for us has the aim to elevate or do better than the last. With that in mind, these videos would be extremely long if we went into every aspects to it (creative ideation, pre, production, post, marketing). With all of that in mind, we are excited to be releasing our Portfolio (spec) Cohort course, where we will be diving deep into every aspect of our process, including pricing, ideation and everything I spoke about above. If there's any interest, feel free to join the waitlist! Cinematic Portfolio Mastery Course Waitlist: tenfoldproduction.ck.page/63ee0c5510
